- Cut and looped certain parts of Vergil's theme from his intro cutscene. Mostly made this for myself so I could mod it into the game, seeing as it was lacking different battle music for each character

Yamato cuts through dimensions to wound Vergil’s foes, so what you’re seeing is Vergil literally cutting part of his enemies into a nebulous void in another dimension
still the most badass thing i've done in any game
That's his basic yamato combo. It's called Yamato Combo A. It only ends that way when you are in devil trigger though

What they should of done was have the non chorus version play, and have the chorus kick in when you get to an S-Rank.

They could go full dynamic and make all battle themes start out as just the bare-bones melody and add instruments as your Style meter rises, until you hit S Rank where the vocals kick in.

Something that I’ve always loved about Vergil’s themes is that no matter how much build up there is, the music always stays in control.
His themes are always parallels of himself, no matter how strong he gets he constantly keeps himself composed and flawless in his execution.

if you mean the one called "the duel", then that one is for both Dante and Vergil, you can even feel Dante's vibe at the beginning.
The ones from DMC5 are terrible, that's a fact, you just can't compare them with his 3 battle themes in DMC3, and this one.

I had to write a leaflet about uses of limestone in building, so I plugged in my headphones and listened to this while doing it, made me feel like a god.

i always think of vergil setting a timer as the music starts to count the seconds needed to kill the demons in front of him.

This should be played for Dmc5 for vergil for his dmc3 costume and keep the new one for the new look when choosing costume for maximum motivation. Young vergil or the new old vergil, either one will show you true power.
Well you got the DMC3 costume and you can play Lets Just See with Vergil, it's nice.

My imagination about this song.
0:00-0:27= Known as pre-chorus phase. I often refer this part whenever someone trying to shove their belief down to my throat.
0:29-0:55 = Chorus phase. After getting roasted by so-called believers, i decided to use my last-resort arguments as an agnostic myself, by asking a question mostly a believer would fear of, a "proof".
Side note = the hotter arguments, the longer the chorus play.

imo music for DMC5 Vergil should start similarly like this music then adding more vocal choirs as you reach S rank. For the bosses, it should start with their own music before being replace with Vergil vocal choirs when reaching S rank against them.

It really gives me the shits that they didn't even bother to give Vergil his own battle music. That was the worst part of DMC4 for me, the total lack of great fighting music, and I didn't even like Dante's battle theme, which is funny, his boss theme is WAY BETTER and it's the SAME TRACK, just a different version. Why couldn't we listen to that? ARGH
Actually Dante's battle theme is a mix of the lyrics from his Boss Theme mixed with remixed melody of his second battle theme from the first Devil May Cry. But yeah, I too enjoy his boss theme.

I use this music for Nero in DMC5, fits him surprisingly well, i highly recommend it.
Hopefully there is a mod at release of SE which changes his battle theme to this one
SE actually contains new remix of this theme. Yet we don't know how it sounds like.
