Yes, can't thank these people enough for all the hard work they do. Every time they take out the plastic and garbage from the ocean, it becomes a bit cleaner.
while then, you can use Tab for a Cause focusing on TeamSeas. TeamSeas are also funding for the Ocean Cleanup. open multiple tabs and you will remove a ton of plastic trash :))
And humans need to drastically reduce the consumption of plastic by not buying huge bottles of liquid detergent, there are laundry sheets now. And the cases of water, juice or other drinks in smaller bottles to make peeps lives easier, I guess that's why they buy them, that needs to end now. Stop making them. They're filled with tap water!
That rainbow at the beginning says so much. Thank you all at Ocean Cleanup for the amazing thing you are doing for the ocean and our planet! Thank you so much!!! 🐳💙🌎🐋🐟💙🌍🐬🙏
All of that will never have the opportuity to become microplastics in the food chain. As an inhabitant of Earth, I appreciate what The Ocean Cleanup is doing. These hauls and the river interceptors are so important.
I've seen one of these videos for the first time a couple months ago. Ever since I started volunteering in cleanups in my home area and ask for donations to ur organization instead of materialistic things as gifts. So happy to see how much was collected this time!
Congratulations to the ladies and gents of The Ocean Clean up. The earth 🌎 (and I) thank you. 18 tons of plastic in one extraction, geez, we’ve got to do better, how much more can the planet take.
You guys deserve a Nobel Prize, an Oscar, a Grammy, the Football Word Cup, the America's Cup, the Heismann Trophy, the Indy 500 Trophy and every other award known to human kind! What you are doing is probably the most important thing being being done on this planet right now. 1,000,000,000 thank yous to each and every one of you women and men involved.
This was great because it showed the clean up of the deck aswell which is something I always wondered about. Would like to see follow on videos that show how the plastic is finally processed too. Congratulations on another milestone 🙌

There was a series 3 years ago: "From thrash to treasure", showing the steps of making their sunglasses.
I don’t think they’re doing that any more. Even if there are, only a tiny amount of the catch would be suitable for that. Almost all of it cannot be recycled using existing technology.
Amazing! System 03 is clearly an excellent design. Congratulations! And thank you for doing this much needed work and for posting this video. The Great Waves of Change are here, and we all need to be doing so much more to restore the planet. It is encouraging to see the progress you've made in such a short time. There's hope yet!
@@miles2378 And you don’t care how much pollution it produces to pick up comparatively minuscule amounts. Got it. It’d be smarter to concentrate on rivers in Asia where most ocean plastics come from but that’s not flashy enough virtue Signaling.
@@keithb6717 To be fair, even if all plastic is stopped from being dumped in the oceans, cleaning at least the biggest bits would still be beneficial. But even if they clean up 10 tons per day with 2 ships (here it's a big haul, but they also spend time in port and so on), you'd need a fleet of 5000 ships to offset the plastic dumped in the oceans. Assuming they're all really this successful all the time. That being said, while it's a huge number, the amount of boats used for fishing and depleting our oceans is counted in the millions. So it adds pollution, but when you scale up other issues, it's not that terrible either. Still I agree that this isn't much at all and is done with a lot of drawbacks.

To hear my dear danish country men being so happy about catch is great❤ big congrats on system 03 up and running❤❤❤ Proud of that Maersk being a part of this👍
