I’ve found very few cars that aren’t awesome for the first year or 2 or 3 or 4. What’s important is how many and costly repairs happen after the warranty ends. So far, I’m very happy with my 2023 model 3 RWD. I’ll get back to you in 10 years, thanks.
Regarding Tesla's method of making cars, simplicity is key. Their approach is so straightforward that even someone with no knowledge of automobiles could understand it.
Thinking the same thing... could it be the less parts design mean when in a crash, instead of a panel being damaged and replaced the majority of the car would be damaged and therefore writen off being cost prohibitive to fix
The only downside I can see is that it will be hard to repair those parts from an accident. Those big cast parts need replacing which could drive the car insurance premiums up.
The hallmark of Tesla EV’s - efficiency, innovation and speed. No EV or ICE vehicle manufacturer is on this level, that’s why they cannot keep up to Tesla!!
For all the “simplicity and very few parts” that go in the car, then there’s no excuse whatsoever for so much poor and questionable quality issues that persists till this time September 2024 specifically in USA.
Other manufacturers always finds a way to make the process simple. They are willing to save cost by few cents per component while simultaneously upping the price of the car 10 - 15k compared to previous models. They will try to simplify the process while simultaneously make componets more complex and prone to statisitcal failure. I cannot wrap my head around these facts.
in a nutshell......goodbye jobs, Elon plans on robots doing 100% of the assembly. But lets keep praising him for us giving him billions in tax breaks while his ultimate goal is to have little to zero payroll. As much as I would like to own a EV, it's the fact that he is trying to do this is what's stopping me from getting a Tesla. Looking for other brands that at least pay their share. Getting harder to do more and more
I stopped giving as much money to the oil companies that receive billions of dollars of subsidies each year. I’d rather my money go to Tesla than legacy auto or the oil companies!
Tesla is not the most beautiful car ! It is a minimalistic car and boring. It is bought not because of nice lines but because of the software and the cameras and no key ! Thinking of how nice some of the European EVs look Tesla is far from this look !
Good assembly, just missing the whole interior.. I think most of the reason for making his assebly this easy, is for utilizing stupid people which he therefore can give shit wages.. He does not need any robot if we can keep the wages down and keep his fortune growing rapidly.
Why don't you think this assembly method is just to make sure that even the new employee can't make any mistake. Because, you know, one mistake, even the smallest, can lead to customer disastisfaction. And talking about Optimus, it's much cheaper than human worker and can work 3 shift per day.
And Tesla STILL has many fit and finish issues. So simple a caveman could do it . . LOL. 54 billion reasons why Tesla still can't make a car that doesn't squeak or rattle or paint chipping so easily.
Yeah, build quality is the problem that Tesla want to address, and they have tried their best to minimize this. At least for this year, build quality is not a major problem
I've owned a Tesla model y performance ror over 1 years own and will never buy another ICE car again ,,Bring it on TESLA
That’s the energy!! What do you love most about your MY?

Tesla’s innovation never ceases to amaze me. The M3P battery sounds incredible!
Of course it is.
Adam Tech, your reviews are always spot-on. Keep it up!
I appreciate that!
I will not be considering any other make of car, as an old mechanic this assembly method is fantastic.

Hard core industrial design, that's why I love TESLA and SPACEX.
Happy to hear that. Thanks for loving Tesla and SpaceX
My years as a mechanic we’re pointless, this is genius simplicity. There’s going to be millions of home EV mechanics 😊😊
The M3P battery's energy density is next level. Tesla is truly innovative!
The idea of a 600-mile range is mind-blowing. Tesla is setting new standards!

Of course they are
The M3P battery could be a game-changer for the Model Y. So excited!
The M3P battery could be a game-changer for the EV market. Can’t wait to see it in action!
Anyone know the list with all changes/improvements in Model Y since first release up to 2024 ?
2034 is too far timeline, only Elon know
Adam, your analysis always hits the mark. Keep up the great work!
Glad you like them!
So simple that you just need to watch a video and do the basic job on your car. Hassle-free, Maintenance free Tesla ❤❤
Yeah, anyone can watch and does this. So simple to build😉
Will the M3P battery be available for other Tesla models too? That would be amazing!
Not sure. Need more confirmation from Musk
I’m curious about the cost implications of the M3P battery. Will it be affordable?
It still based on LFP chemistry, of course it will be affordable.
Fast charging is essential for long road trips. Glad to see Tesla leading the charge!
It sure is!
you should give links to the sources for the videos you use
We always put the source name on the left corner of the video
@@adamtech999 there are no sources on the video I'm watching........the one above
Heck, they could sell kits for the user to assemble.
Sound like a good idea :))

Why is it cost so much to repair a Tesla and why are insurance rates through the roof and they're quick to write off a Tesla?
Thinking the same thing... could it be the less parts design mean when in a crash, instead of a panel being damaged and replaced the majority of the car would be damaged and therefore writen off being cost prohibitive to fix
Is this actually the Juniper?
Just a few fan render, right now, no one have the exact picture of Model Y Juniper

That's Tesla that we know about

That's the point. With gigacasting, it's easier to assemble a car and make it safer, but the downside you're mentioning is not wrong.
There is a recent video here on UA-cam that explains that this is not the case.
@@RobertLenior can you please share the link? I would interested to find out, Thanks

sad thing to hear:(
I’d rather have a 911, hear the engine roar, and go through the gears of a manual transmission.
I also love the roar of the 911, but what do you think of the Model Y's acceleration?

As a consumer, you have the power to make choices. What you said about Elon isn't wrong either, but for me, Tesla cars are separate from this.
