I’m 67 years old, die hard conservative, seen a lot done a lot,, the first time I heard this song I had tears streaming down my face,,for the first time in my time here on earth, I actually fear for our country.. powerful, powerful song

I heard this song for the first time yesterday july 4th 2024 while i was fishing with my wife and 2 kids and i just sat in silence hanging on every word and yes i played the song about 5 more times after that and i felt that american pride come over me and tears did fall

I am a vet and this song hits at the heart! I am so dam pissed at the people who did this to our country I could scream! We need to arrest them and throw them in prison for life or worse! It is treason plain and simple.

Aaron Lewis is best known for the lead singer of Staind! He's a patriot who loves this country and this song proves that 1000 times over! This song is so awesome and a real tear jerker!
I cried. I was born in the 50's and now seeing the country I love slowly ceasing to be what it used to be. It tears me up to see so many Americans falling for the socialist.
My hubby showed me this video & I couldn't stop sobbing for this great nation of ours...I served in the military because I wanted to give back to the nation my great grandparents risked their lives to come to (legally) & because of all of the freedoms it has afforded me. I continue to serve, in a different capacity now, but I love this country & our flag more than most. We must fight for her, God bless the USA!

I'm from a military family and although I couldn't serve for health reasons, patriotism was in-grained in me from a very early age. I love this country even if I don't always like an administration running it sometimes. 💖🙏🏼 to you and your family. Stay strong.

I grew up in Mpls. First job was on Lake St. Ya, the part they burned down. All those small businesses, so many of which were owned by first-gen citizens. I'm 55 miles west in Hutchinson. I've been welcomed here and you would be, too.

This was a tear jerker for sure, and anger stirrer, makes me want to scream with rage at everything happening to my beautiful country/people, I'm so glad you reacted to this, thanks so much nick 💙💙💙 as far as acting is concerned, have you ever considered hooking up with the daily wire? I was so thankful when this song came out. I’m 64 and towards the end of my cancer treatments. Doctors asking me if I had gotten the jab. Told them all I’ve never had a flu shot why would I get an experimental drug that I and you guys don’t have any clue what it is. Has the fucking world gone crazy. Thank you Arron! I wasn’t the only one.🇺🇸
I just finished cancer treatment last year myself and was constantly asked by my doctors if I was getting the vaccine. They didn't like my reply of no and don't plan too. I hope the rest of your treatment goes well. 🙏
I saw Aaron perform this at Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth back in November and it was sooooo good. Super powerful with the whole crowd signing along. Thanks for giving this one a listen, Nick. Keep fighting the good fight.

The first few times I heard this song I felt tears in my eyes. I’ve never been an easy cryer but the lyrics just hit hard. We live in a great country and can’t let our freedoms get stripped away.

I met Arron lewis and the members of stained , when they were just starting out. We partied in a motel bar in Daytona after there show. Playing pool and drinking beer n shots. He gave me a cassette saying watch out we're going places.. they were all cool down to earth . One stole the fine girl I was with 😭 dam rock n rollers 🤣.

I love music so much that before this song I couldn’t narrow it down to one. This IS my favorite song! For me it completely embodies what it means to be a Patriotic American! As someone who fought for my country, I can really relate. This is what I feel, I didn't fight for this. They are trying to destroy the concept of America. We aren't perfect and have had some bad times in our history. I'll be the first to admit that, but we have learned and trying to move forward. They are trying to use our past to re-imagine America that wasn't founded on the principle of freedom. "I CAN'T BE THE ONLY ONE" !!

A terrific reaction to this song from a truly outstanding, exceptional, person. Who who, who- Yes, speaking to or on behalf of you, Nick the Actor 💯🇺🇸. I hope this present year will end up being full of exciting possible choices and opportunities other than "Merch guy" As to the song itself- very poignant to the current climate of USA without sounding preachy or pandering. The line about statues coming down hits rather hard and speaks to the underlying and not very subtle agenda to retell, change, discredit American history. Aaron's voice is haunting and memorable just as with songs ppl know like Country Boy and especially a favorite of mine Far Away.

First time hearing about your work. I did subscribe. I have felt like this song describes. This country doesn't seem like the one I was raised in. Things are so different now. We would pray every morning in school then the pledge and if I got lucky I'd get to help hang the flag. Schools are not the same now and I think that plays a role in patriotism .
