Thanks! Glad you are enjoying them. Blind tasting can be so surprising, no doubt. So many times my favorite under normal circumstances places near the bottom blind, haha. Cheers 🍻
We did this a lot when I was in college in the early 80s and it almost never happened that anyone actually picked their favorite beer. A guy who owned a Bud distributor didn't even pick Bud. It was before light beer became such a big seller.
this video popped up on my recommended tonight and i loved every minute of it. really makes me wish i could’ve done this with my old man but he passed when i was 11. he was a bud light guy and i always go for busch light. liked and subscribed.
I buy 30 packs of Busch Light sometimes because there cheap and I don't care if my friends help themselves. But myself and almost all my friends prefer the Keystone Light at the same price. You might want to try it.
Miller lite in the aluminum bottle has a strange metallic taste. Never notice the metallic taste in the regular can. I really like miller lite and I think it’s cool that the miller lite I buy in Texas is brewed in Texas using Texas ingredients.
Interesting outcome. I’ve always gravitated more towards Keystone Light over Coors Light. Keystone Light mostly just tastes like regular Coors Banquet to me, and I have to say, I think I’ve arguably even enjoyed more than Coors Banquet from time to time.
I'm convinced my step-dad, singlehandedly, kept Olympia Beer in business... he drank it his entire life... and I've NEVER seen anyone else drink it... 😎☮️🖖🍺
For those looking for a low calorie beer with a lot of flavor, check out Guinness draught. It only has 125 calories versus 110 calories in a Bud Light. Believe it or not.
I work with RHB in NC (annheuser-busch distributor) as a merchandiser in stores, also absolutely love me some bud, Busch and natural, my family drinks michelob, and the other half drinks seltzers and wine, as a AB family that occasionally buys some miller-coors products, I can honestly say youre looking for an advertised buyout, I’ll tell you the Germans in corporate won’t deal with ya…hopefully so, we used to love rolling rock in PA until AB bought em out and changed the recipe……
Natural light beer is the winner for me 🍺 it's the best beer ever fresh crispy taste with notes of fresh fruity pear 🍐 no headaches just great buzzing effect and tastes absolutely amazing 🤩..I tasted so many expensive and foreign beers and "Natural light beer" is the winner of all of them!👍🏼✨🍻👊🤙
I like your blind taste testing videos. Hardly anyone is doing it on video. I think we all want to know which beer tastes the best. I guess the popular beer nerds on YT would get embarrassed for picking the "wrong" beer. 🤣
Thanks! Yeah they are fun to do but take a lot of time and ones with this number of beers can leave you in questionable condition 🥴 But we plan to keep doing more, so thanks for watching 🍻
I joke that Natty light is my house beer. Which it is. It is so refreshing and never disappoints. But I buy guest beers all the time, modelo, pacifico, IPAs, bud light, shock top, blue moon etc. Natty Light remains the house beer.
Amstel light was 1 of the main biers served at the pubs in Steenwijk Netherlands when I was stationed there in late 80's. It was weird after drinking the Dutch and German biers for a couple of months, it ruined my palate for drinking an American beer. My beer before I went overseas was Budweiser, drank 1 after a couple months of the European biers, and it tasted horrible. After being back in the states it took me a while to acquire for flavor for American beers again. Price may oh had something to do with it as well lol.
I get that weird metallic off of Bud Light too! Very confusing beer, it should be pretty palatable and decent based on its popularity? Maybe we both got a weird batch! (even though their brewery science is pretty good, I’d assume)
Yeah, I'm not sure what the deal is with metallic tasting beer, If it's a sign of not being fresh enough, a canning issue or just an inherent flavor of the beer itself.
What I think would be awesome for these tastings be give them the same 5 beers but not give them the same order. See which each truly like so they aren’t influenced by the other person
I alternate between Miller Lite in a can and Coors Light in a bottle. It might be a placebo effect, but I think Coors Light in the glass bottles just hit a little differently than the can.
I'm late to the game here. One thing you didn't consider is the reason some of these beers are so popular, carbs. 40 years ago, it was Miller Lite based on low calories. All us old fogies remember those catchy commercials. "It's got a 3rd less calories than a regular beer..." About 5 years or so ago, things switched from calories to carbs, mostly due to Keto. Your top 2 are much higher in carbs than your #15, I think Ultra. Keystone and Heineken are double the carbs, so they dont appeal to that huge number of people who drink beer for the carb content. Miller Lite, Natty, Coors Lt, Yuengling LT, all have 3 or ao carbs per cab. As a Keto guy for 6 years and a beer drinker for 45 years, I mostly buy Busch Lite but sometimes buy Miller or Coors in the reclosable bottles if I'm fishing because I'll take a few swallows and then close it up and put it back in the cooler. I don't drink for a buzz anymore, but I love the taste of beer. I started out on Schlitz because a friend's dad worked for their distributor in Alabama. I agree wholeheartedly on the Ultra. It's actually quite blah, even when it's ice cold and almost any beer is good at 34 degrees. Good videos and I'm going back to watch them all.
Wow, excellent observation! That is no doubt why we liked those more then. there's just more body and complexity to them due to the higher carbs. That would also explain why the watered down high life did as well or better than many of the others. Thanks for watching!
I'm sorry man but I would have to go with micalob and not Miller light because I can't handle Miller like I can micalob but It's a shame that XX isn't in the running
as someone who drinks light beer exclusively milwaukee best light has been my personal preference but i know you guys didn’t like it at all. i’ll drink natural light or keystone light if i can’t find the milwaukee. between the actual taste and price point i just can’t justify paying a premium price for a light beer. to each their own.
Agree on not paying a premium price for light beer. On their own any of these would be fine I'm sure. The differences just come out when tasting side by side with others. Cheers🍻
Great vid again guys! Thought I subscribed before now its confirmed! Are you guys in ATL area? I have to see my son would be glad to drop you Old Style and Old Style light if you're still interested. Cheers!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. That's a super nice offer. Craig lives in Atlanta and Roger lives in Athens. At this point I think it's a better idea to wait until we take a trip further north and have an opportunity to pick up several of the different beers like that which people wanted to see in that tasting but we can't easily get here like Stroh's, Grain Belt, Hamm's, Olympia, Old Milwaukee, etc and put them up against a few of the winners from the last tasting. So I definitely appreciate the offer but it's probably best we wait until we can make a more interesting video trying them I think. Thanks again and cheers 🍻
Haha always surprising to see what happens in blind tasting. It can also sway things because you are trying beers directly after and before all these other beers and bigger bolder flavors tend to stick out. Having them on their own might be a different story.
It probably is. It would stick out like a sore thumb here though. If we were talking from the entire light beer world, regular Guiness would definitely be my pick as it's essentially a light beer.
But...but...there is not one beer there. All I can see are Pisswasser's...and it looks more like a contest which of these is the most disgusting and wins the contest in: "Which makes me the most nauseous in the shortest amount of time?"
It is criminal there is no Busch Light in there
Agreed, it's the best AB product
You believe in God?
For me Yuengling Light is the best. Miller and Coors would be a close second.
These videos are great, and also show the value in blind tastings!
Thanks! Glad you are enjoying them. Blind tasting can be so surprising, no doubt. So many times my favorite under normal circumstances places near the bottom blind, haha. Cheers 🍻

Miller Lite is my favourite. Evidently I need to try Keystone light.
It's worth a shot surprisingly
Ultra, Miller Lite, and Coors Light are my top 3.
Same!

It makes sense. There's just more to it I think.
Milwaukees Best Light was the best easy drinking beer ever made! Too bad it's impossible to get here in Arizona now.
It's virtually water. Couple of older guys I know that are on a budget drink a 30 pak of that a day.
1) Hamm's 2) Pfeiffer's 3) Blatz ......... TOP 3 in the world!!
Keystone is amazing.
k stone premium legend
Nice touch putting the watered down Miller in there😁
This was great fun to watch.
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it. Cheers 🍻
Should try Yuengling Flight.
Love all of the the background and info, great video!
Thank you. We're glad that you liked it!
Great video, lots of fun. Thanks.

That would have fit right in for sure. Hard to get them all though. Thanks for watching🍻
You guys are hilarious! I would like to share beers with y'all one day! Cheers! 🍻 👏 🍺
Haha thanks James! 🍻
Mix 50/50, the favorite regular with Coors 40cal no alcohol Edge beer, water is 0 cal but take something away not being carbonated.
Not a bad idea there
Where did you buy the Medallita beer?? From what store chain etc??
From a local package store in Atlanta called Green's.
@@drinkingwithcraigandroger4539 wish I could get them here in Las Vegas

Wow ... Keystone light !? I jumped ahead ... I'll have to watch the full video. Generally agree with Miller Lite and Heineken light in your top 4 ?
Yeah pretty surprising right? It's worth watching how we arrived there but it really stood up will time and time again. Thanks for checking it out🍻
What I think would be awesome for these tastings be give them the same 5 beers but not give them the same order. See which each truly like so they aren’t influenced by the other person
I've thought about that. We might do that style of video sometime.
I alternate between Miller Lite in a can and Coors Light in a bottle. It might be a placebo effect, but I think Coors Light in the glass bottles just hit a little differently than the can.
I agree with both of you. Milwaukee's Best is Milwaukee's worst!
Why does the Amstel have a green top and not even the slightest foam ring? Gross.
A nice cold keystone is pretty good
going to get roasted.... but Keystone is my fav

I drink Miller Lite because it tastes Great.
So how many times did you run to take a pee?
😂😂😂
keystone is my go to light beer and my friends make fun of me for it 🤣 made my day seeing it win. its a solid light beer.
Hahaha, yes. Quite a surprise!
Im going to get bullied but i like Keystone Light!

My favorite light beer now is Modelo Oro. Maybe it is not available in your area.
Which ones are drinkable?
Awesome video!
Thanks William 🍻
No Busch Light??? And how drunk were you guys?
Hope you over came the side effects of the bud light.😮
Miller Time!!!
Keystone is the best, tastes great, even when flat.

“Bearded man mistakes cat piss for really good IPA”

Hell yeah!
Imagine not having Busch light
So what are the winners???
Gotta make it to the later part of the video to find out haha.
No Busch light!!! ???
Wow keystone is my go to light beer !!! And now you know …
Coors light was out before ww1 or 2 but the war started and stopped production.
The coldest one!
Keystone is swill. Apparently beer experts are like the Academy Awards voters. I don't like anything they like either.
Yeah they had me until that

Light beer - what's the point?!
Keystone LOL that is funny guess you guys were drunk.
Stoner for the win
Blue Moon light is better than all of these.
It probably is. It would stick out like a sore thumb here though. If we were talking from the entire light beer world, regular Guiness would definitely be my pick as it's essentially a light beer.
Beast light as we call it in Wisconsin "King of Hangovers" when I would drink it at a friends house.
They lost all credibility with keystone light.
haha, it was quite a surprise to me as well.
I have to disagree..
Keystone is Horrible!
Light beer sucks
Can't entirely disagree 😂
Just drink hard seltzer imo
Less calories and it doesnt taste like watery beer
