- McCutcheon, who played Natalie in the film, said she was nervous during an early table read for the 2003 romcom when the late Rickman offered “the best advice he could have given me.”
I met this lady in real life once and we had a conversation. She is one of the most kind, humble, lovely and sweet human beings this world ever created. I love you Martine❤

As a teenager who was surrounded by ideals of “heroin chic” I thought she was plumpy. As an adult, I’m like, she’s PERFECT> WTFFFF???
@@BLTKellys think that was more making fun of silly norms or pressures around that time than legitimately calling her fat. She’s at that middle weight, a bit below middle. Like there’s dialogue in there questioning people saying that. Also Hugh Grant fancies her in it and she isn’t made out to be unattractive, the opposite actually I think. So in turn I think it was having a positive impact on people not being very slim, that’s the undertones it gives off.
