  • Every Wojak meme tells a story, in this case a Soviet tanker in a BT 7 with two other tankers fight the Japanese at the battle of Khalkhin Gol
"The Japanese soldier screaming Tandoheka, Banzai at us following with the explosion scared me, thanks to Soviet steel the explosion didn't blast through, if it was thinner we would've been gone in an instant"
    -Soviet tanker in this video
"Tri Tankista" is a song composed by Pokrass brothers in 1939 with lyrics by Boris Laskin and preformed by Red Army choir (now Alexandrov Ensemble), this song would of course fit well with the Soviet tank theme of the Wojak video.
”Seventy-five years ago, Soviet and Mongolian troops selflessly blocked the invaders’ way forward. The victory at Khalkin-Gol became a symbol of military comradeship and solidarity.“
The battle of Khalkhin Gol was a Soviet and Mongolian vs Japanese border war at Khalkh River, Mongolia in 1939

@@matthewjanicki2932 Assuming you're talking about Enemy at the gates, the idea that they relied on "human wave" tactics to win the war was debunked decades ago. The idea of human waves as a preferred Soviet tactic, or that they were used later in the war when the Soviets had the operational initiative, was in vogue during the Cold War because it made the Soviets look bad and because most English- language study of the Eastern Front was based on the writings of German officers. The Germans wanted their writings to give the impression that they had been defeated through sheer manpower rather than through fighting on many fronts, having crap logistics, having no clear idea of how to connect their strategic goals with operational planning, being stuck with a top commander who refused to authorize tactical or strategic withdrawals, and dedicating a lot of their own manpower to murdering Jews in the rear areas.which relied on frontal assaults to win the Russo-Japanese War at great cost in lives, and then went on to speed up its loss in many Pacific battles by throwing away troops in futile banzai charges. The banzai charge was only effective for them in China, where their opponents often only had rifles, but was stunningly unsuccessful against a peer opponent
