- The gold medal match of the 2016 FIL U-19 Championships was one for the ages. After the US easily dominated competition to that point in the tournament, Canada came out hot and executed a great game plan that built a sizeable lead. The US fought their way back for a late tie, resulting in one of the most exciting endings in the tournament's history.
What a great come back by the USA that's insane!!
They should have just gotten the Hill Academy to play for the Canadian team.
Wow the Canadian team was stacked
This just shows why US Lacrosse needs to grow box in the U.S. this was embarrassing.
ACVRG how was this embarrassing? The Us won...
ACVRG but the US won
Buddy we have way more titles, USA lacrosse is gonna be fine
ACVRG no he’s right it was clear the Canadian team had more skill
Team USA probably hadn’t played together as much as Canada
the canuck fogo guy should got the ball in his pocket they could of tied
Darius Ruckers mm
1:04 - missed interference call, and the friggin guy gets the goal.
The first face the USA fogo has to have those ground balls
These announcers are so cringey
USA USA USA
that canadian dragged conrad to the ground after that last play. Goes to show their classless nature.
I agree. Canadian players seems to play a bit dirtier in most all aspects of the game in my experience
Unlike this comment. Classy.
yeah, I'll admit that Canadian players are a little more "dirty" than Americans. The only reasoning that I can come up with for that is because of our box background. We do some much behind the play because box is so much "chippier" you could say, and we do it to try to get into the opponents head. But when it comes down to it, we know how to play clean as well. If you watch, he gets tangled up but tries to let go after the shot and ends up accidentally tripping on the American's feet with him. Plus, imagine being in the heat of the moment and the opposing team is right there. You're going to commit everything you have into that hit to try and prevent the ball from crossing that line.
Yeah I totally understand that. I feel like there is also more of a need for "chippier" play in box than in the field game. Just my take on it
Oh yeah!! You definitely need to be chippy in box. You have to let you temper take a role in it to drive you sometime. It's rough..
