I’d like to know runtimes and output when using a standard AA.

I'm leaning towards the Lumintop. Everything else being equal I like having a lockout on a flight I carry in a pocket.

Thanks for the review. I've got a Thrunite that takes 21700 and it's an excellent light but I need something smaller to carry all the time and I think this is it.

How is it compared to a Fenix E12?

The beam pattern is better on the Fenix. Price can be a factor as well. For low cost, get it done lighting in a compact design, this one is a winner. If you want a luxury carry, the Fenix is a decent light, but will not run on 14500s. I like my E12, because of it's compact design with a guarded tail switch design.

I like my Fenix E=12 but for the money the Lumintop Tool AA is better!! Both are great edc lights.
