The user manual on the online product page has some extra info that isn't in the printed user manual. You can configure the indicator light under the yellow button cover to stay off, or make it flash constantly like a beacon.
That is a MUCH better UI than they had been using. The older UI had a group for "firefly," then for normal, and then for turbo, and you'd have to click to move between them. It was relatively intuitive in "complex mode" or whatever they called it, but it was...a lot. Hands down, Armytek are the most beautiful floody beams on a headlamp. It's just so impressively wide and diffused - and even. If you hate a hotspot on a headlamp, these are kind of the best. Also, for the U.S., warranty work typically requires shipping to China, so the warranty is kind of on paper only (unless you want to spend $50 shipping to China), so I'd recommend buying Armytek in the U.S. from a good retailer (I have had GREAT experiences with Killzone Flashlights), though that won't be the cheapest option.
Good fishing light! Armytek Wizard C2 WR Warm is one of my favourites. The output is very stable.
