Yes you can as long as you can convince them with your other credentials like CGPA,Course Works, Test Scores (GRE, IELTS) or Your interest in their research works etc, thank you 😊

I want to know what should I do for Teaching Assistantship, I guess this doesn't require to have the similar research areas as the supervisors? For research assistantship we should mail to Professors and need to have the research experience/publication. But for the teaching assistantship, does it compulsory to have publication or notable research experience?? I hope you would reply. Thanks.

For fall PhD admission: if you are an international student you shall start sending email from 1 year ago. Like if you want to start your PhD from Fall 2023 then you shall start sending email from September of 2022! In this case ideal time is from September to December

Honestly most of the cases it doesn’t matter! But once someone replies to you and show interest, then try to stick with that professor only for further communication until he/she reject you!!

I did so. Though many people doesn't recommend it but it didn't make any problem to me. Just make sure once you hear positive or any interest from any of the professor from one department then stop replying or poking to other professors of that department as long as your discussion with that professor is completed. So, no problem to send email to all but once you hear from anyone and start discussing with him/her during that time don't reach to other professor of that department.

Hello Brother, if I have a list of 50 universities and if I want to get fund from the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) for PhD, But the problem is, I found there are around 10 to 20 professors in each University in ECE department, that means 20*50=1000 Professors, If I have target to send 200 to 300 email what strategy should I follow? Should I reduce University or Should I reduce Professor from each University? How can I eliminate from the list of professor? Thank You

Wise decision is to email professor before even apply. Then you are confirmed of your funding. But if you don’t get any reply and decided to apply then after getting admission letter, you can also reach to professor and say them, you already got admission and now you are looking for funding- teaching assistantship or research assistantship! Yeah you can but in this case probably he is more interested about PhD GRA not an MS GRA!

It’s the same way! But in that case you just need IELTS/TOFEL score and you don’t need GRE!
