I don't think the bone glove should be legal on the basis that it resembles the power glove, given that Terraria has its own accessory called the power glove with effects more similar to TLoZ's power glove than the bone glove's.
The way I was looking at is was that you could have several items being represented so long as they look similar/ have the same name. I was going to use both bone and power glove because of this, but I’ll rethink it if you think otherwise
@@CrispyLink Perhaps a better qualifier for an item would be “does this give me a similar experience to an item found in TLoZ?” This can still be interpreted vaguely enough to give you some wiggle room on some items, while also excluding ones that only resemble a TLoZ item in only looks.
Roc's Cape from The Minish Cap, Oracle of Seasons, and Four Swords allows for jumping and gliding over distances. I personally would say the wings that look closest to that item should be fine.
you can use wings, minish cap has an item called 'rocs cape' that lets you fly a little, so imo, you can use fledgeling wings pre-hardmode, because they look pretty similar, and then use them as vanity for real wings after that EDIT: OH OH!! ALSO!! id say shield of cthulu is ok to use, because in twilight princess link can learn the 'shield attack' technique, which lets you slam your shield into an enemy!
If there are any bows in hardmode that you can use, I think hellfire arrows should be allowed since they act like bomb arrows (you can buy them from the demolitionist in hardmode if you don’t want to gather resources to craft them)
Honestly, I think most of the fun of a run like this is finding ways to stretch the rules to include more items, the balloon being a great example of precisely that.

I think the balloon is fair if you turn it into a pufferfish balloon.
Alright- the puffer fish balloon is obtained from fishing, so I'll make sure to stop using the Shiny Red Balloon and try fishing for puffer

id say Roc's Feather or Roc's Cape would have some potential for wings or a mantle
I’d say the feather resembles more of a feather fall potion, but you could make an argument about the cape… that might pass for fledgling wings
