Had ours delivered just in time for a planned trip away last weekend.
This awning is amazing from it's small pack size (even with the front and side panels and the included pump) it all fits away into the oversized bag that it came in..
Really quick pitch time and thanks to the zip in panels (something Vango should learn from after previously having one of their air sky canopies with the ill fitting sides) gives a really nice and quite sealed in and enclosed awning. The only two things I would add to make it perfect are at least one of the panels having two way zips to aid ventilation and a few more pegging points, particularly on the front panel but honestly for speed, weight and overall looks this is the best canopy/ awning we have used on our swb Renault Trafic. Thanks Debus and Funky Leisure 👍

Thanks for the feedback and its great to hear that the design has been a winner for you. We designed this to combine the compact size and open feel of a canopy but with the ability to enclose like an awning as well. We will pass on your comments regarding the ventilation and pegging points to the design team :)

Hi. I really like the look of this awning. Sorry if this is a dumb question as I've never had an awning before. Will it fit my 2020 Ford Transit Custom SWB? If it will fit, I've seen an awning rail for sale for a Ford Transit Custom, the length being 2290mm. Will this one be ok to use with your awning? Many thanks, Steve.

The connection length of the awning in 250cm which whilst slightly longer than the length of your rail should still work without any issues. It would leave a slight overhang of around 10cm at either end but you could potentially use a Kador Drive-Away Kit which has rigid figure of 8 strips which would take up any excess length.

As I have a swb Trafic my awning rail was a good 10 - 15cm shorter than the awning and it gave me no issues at all 👍

@@funkyleisure8603 Thank you for replying. I've just placed my order for the awning and I'll have a think about what kind of rail to buy for it. Cheers!

How is this in the rain, does it pool? Also are there any attachment points for fairy lights?

I honestly can't answer how it handles the rain as it was a lovely sunny weekend.
It certainly felt taught enough to not pool.
There are no attachment points for fairy lights but if they were externally fitted I'm sure there's enough ways to get creative.
I've used 3 different Vango awnings and a wild earth awning on this van and for the cost this one has impressed me the most.
I have kept a bigger heavier Vango until I see how this performs in bad weather but if it's ok then that'll be gone as well

With the curvature of the front beam and fabric there should be no issues with rain pooling on the canopy. There are not any points as standard for attaching fairy lights but we have previously attached some using the guyline and webbing strap points as a work around.
