      Thanks Michelle! I used to get them so often that I had to find a way. Now I have a dehydrator and very rarely get craters luckily! I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving! 🦃

    How long does it take to dry and will it still harder like usual when using glycerin?

      I've never timed the drying process - I'd give it at least a few hours before bagging or stacking. It dries just like regular royal icing. It is not any softer. The benefit of the glycerin is that it does not break down the royal icing like water will - it's smooth and keeps its shine.
