While preparing 1c or 1x from mother tincture , it is understandable that you mix 8 parts of vehicle but please explain why you make that 1 part of drug (in tincture) to 2 parts(in potency prep)?????

While making mother tincture we already have added equal amount of alcohol let us assume in 2ml of Mother tincture there is 1ml drug and 1ml alcohol .. drug power of MT is 1/2... as +8 in denominator will make it according to definition of desired potency 1x ... WHAT WE need is to add 8ml more alcohol
1ml of drug is constant not changing kindly see again .. or mention time on video where u have doubt
