I hate the way everyone is complaining about cars not being luxury enough ect, forcing car companies to stop making good cars and start making over sized Jeeps with no off road capabilities
I've owned a 2016 Dmax Utah Auto for a year and real world fuel economy figures would be local short trips in a hilly area of west wales 29 mpg. Towing around 2 tonnes on motorway 24mpg. Motorway no towing 35mpg and flattish a roads 38-40 mpg. I would also say as a big tall bloke the driving position and comfort is superb and I am yet to find a car that's any better. Also if you want a decent ride comfort avoid the Blade with its big low profile tyres and make sure you have a canopy fitted as this also helps smoothen the ride.

What did you think of the Isuzu D-Max?
The five speed auto from Aisin Warner is about five years beyond its sell-by date. Since automatic pickups have increased as a proportion of those sold drastically over the last three years, the new six speed about to be introduced, probably on sale by April, can't come a minute too soon. Trouble is, the game has moved on, and they should really have skipped the six speed and fitted the 8 speed version for even better drive ability and fuel economy. The Isuzu is one of the market leaders in the U.K. and the new version will ensure it stays that way. The distribution network is particularly strong, as it needs to be, because Isuzu is a one trick pony here, apart from a limited number of larger trucks around 7.5 tons gross that are a separate entity.
It's the best pickup truck
In common with most pickups apart from the latest Nissan, this has heavy duty leaf sprung live rear axle, with the main priority being load carrying capacity, towing and heavy duty work. As such and despite its mega-long wheelbase, its ride comfort and handling is nothing special. It is a great dual purpose work truck for farmers and builders etc, and as such any qualifying business can legitimately claim 100% tax relief and the 20% VAT back, immediately on a cash or hire purchase, or monthly on contract hire. The point I'm getting ar here is that vehicles such as this are always quoted 'plus VAT', not as the gross figure including VAT that reviews such as this insist on doing, probably in ignorance of the overwhelming market position of these vehicles. Anyone who buys one of these without being able to use the tax concessions needs their heads examined in my opinion. Even as used models, probably 95% of pickups will be sold plus VAT, due to the first owner claiming it back initially but paying VATon the sale price. At least the high depreciation and large numbers of used pickups on the market make an used model a far more palatable financial prospect for the private buyer.
Hi well I am a proud owner of Isuzu dmax asian version single turbo is one of the best vehicle I have ever owned in my life the pickup just needed little mods I have done tough dog foam shocks and a ecu remap and 300 cell down pipe sports cats this pick up give me a lot of pleasure I. Own one Benz c250 but this vehicle gives me maximum pleasure also people complain about 5 speed gear box the gear ratio is so well spaced and you don't even feel it is a 5 speed auto no point in have more gears if gear ratio is not proper
Most important is is giving me fuel economy of 100/6 per litre with so much power is really super

You talk about the cars off road capability but it doesn't look like you've tested it of road so are you just believing what the manufacturer told you?

Yeah, that's before anyone realised that Mitsubishi used cheap materials on the Series 5 to cut costs, resulting in quite serious quality and reliability issues. By the way, how much did Mitsubishi pay them for that award?
