As I understand it whenever an ability mentions "one hex away" it means there should be a 1-hex distance between the target and the character, like the Dash ability for Redux (23:47) which is definitely different from "an adjacent hex", otherwise the core ability for Redux and Tempus would be exactly the same but with different wording. at 25:17 Redux's core ability targets enemies "in a circle 1 hex away" (and it fits the theme of using a boomerang as a ranged weapon) so according to this wording, I assume it shouldn't be able to target the two "adjacent" enemies, unless the phrase "in a circle" means: all spaces within a circle with a radius of 2 hexes (="1 hex away") which includes adjacent spaces (giving Redux more attack range than Tempus, which again, fits the theme since a boomerang also hits on its way back). but if that was the case, then what about every other hex on the radius of that circle which are not in a straight line from the hex occupied by Redux? are they targeted too?
Looks pretty good. But that’s a heck of a name for a game. I think I’ll create a game and call it, “Philomakers of Sagulligonia”- just to make sure no one can recall the title. 😊
Around 29:56 Frigus chose to target Redux with Shackling Cold, but Redux still had the Resistance effect. Would that make Redux immune to that ability?
I got the game yesterday and I’m wondering how the solo rules work. The rulebook does not mention anything, besides „solve the various puzzles“… But no word about how the enemies move, attack or use their special abilities. Maybe someone has any clue how this works.. 🤷🏽♂️😯
I can see why you'd think this, but the rules told me that that icon means "any in a straight line" not just the first 2. The publisher watched the video before I uploaded it and didn't point this out as a mistake (they did catch others, and I put in corrections).
Yeah, it came out as a 2p only game a few years ago. This is a revised and expanded version that plays up to 4p, I think there are some other changes too.
@@JonGetsGames this is not so, this game is still supported, the balance is improving, 3 additions were also released, one of which is for 4 players "four-way", they released the steam version too, I was changed in the design, very simplified, the company is called intaglif (Интаглиф)

This was so perfectly well explained, thanks a lot 🥳🤗👍🏽

CORRECTIONS:
29:59 - Redux currently has a resistance token, so they can't be targeted by this effect.

Ah, good catch! I've added a correction, thanks!

12:06 Judging by the icon on the card it looks like fissure has a max range of 2, it shouldnt be able to hit ballistarius

I vaguely remember seeing this game many moons ago. Is this some rerun of an old campaign?
That strange "globe"-ish map is very distinct.

Its also available on Steam for a while now (years)
