The "1320" Swiss Buco Wooden Clock In Action...ALL Original Except The String For The Escapement.

Bought This Clock From shopgoodwill.com for about $40.00. It was in ALL the original packaging...including 1969 newspaper. Sometimes they say the packaging is worth more than the clock...this is about a 50/50 split.
The "string" for the escapement finally broke after 51 years...so I replaced it with doubled-up black sewing thread and it works as it should.
It is a loud ticking clock...I don't believe the ipod internal mic enhances the sound too much...but to clarify it is on the first landing of my staircase. So I am sure all the angles the sound reflects off of is giving it a more robust "tick".
