2 hints here: first, arena shows all mana costs of cards in your hand. so when there are 200 lands, look above to spot all nonlands by their mana cost. second: arena highlights all playable cards blue. so after you play a land, your jayce will be highlighted
Also while you're waiting for your opponent to do stuff you should find the cards you want to play and move them to the left. That way you know where they are and you're using their timer to find them, not yours.

I gotta tell ya, I love this deck. So much fun to play. I tweaked mine, reduced # of lands and added the Aetheflux Reservoir as a backup. But also added one Phyrexian Processor - it's absolutely hysterical to add a 50/50 or 100/100 token - most players just concede at that point. One time though I did the 100/100 token (using 100 life) with that card, had over 3000 life, and still died to some crazy combo that took 6 minutes to resolve. I learn more about other decks using this deck because it doesn't take a lot to think about as I now know the cards inside out. I lose a lot with this deck, but the victories are fun - some tight games too, lost by 1 point right before gaining 100+, or was left with 1 or 2 health and then hit a 100+ life, basically ending the game. But some people have shocked me with some cards negating artifacts. Fun times
I think you are actually pretty safe from Scute Swarm. They limited the board in Arena to 250 creatures at some point. If that hasn't changed, the scute army literally can't kill you (except with big aoe buffers).

I remember back when it got restricted in Type II (now known as Standard) along with Zuran Orb, Land Tax, Strip Mine, Black Vise, Balance, and Hymn to Tourach (Mind Twist and Channel were banned). Having continuous lifegain to feed Necro was already disgusting enough, but any sort of prison deck inevitably got to a point where the opponent couldn't win and Feldon's Cane became a legitimate (albeit extremely slow) win-con. Now that we have "no maximum hand size" shenanigans, Ivory Tower is even more busted.
This deck is freaking hilarious. I feel like adding in an Aetherflux reservoir would be a really easy way to finish off people with all of your excess life points, however it would make it way too easy and you wouldn't get to see how crazy high your life total can get XD

Elf ball would be able to blast right through your healing. I was doing 5000 damage a turn after playing my whole elf deck in historic against a guy who couldn't lose the game.
There are a few green counterspells but they are very specific such as only countering blue instants. The only one available in Historic however, Verdant Command, specifically counters loyalty abilities and would have been a problem.
That was fun. By the way, if someone copies the deck, you can drag and arrange cards in our hand, so just drag everything you want to play on far left as the game fills hand on right.
a crazy jank deck I found yesterday was Pyre of Heros with Phyrexians now that there are so many There is Wurmcoil Engine for 6 that has an on-death effect, leading into Sheoldred for 7 that brings it back. It even works in mono-black (except 5 cost, but there's an ok colorless phyrexian for 5)
Can confirm, volo/master chef combo works really well with tap/untap spam to draw a ton of cards with ivory tower out. Add aetherflux and you can rapidly get out of hand.
When a planeswalkers resolves its controlled hold priority until they activate it or take another action. Preventing an opponent to remove it beforehand.
You can add a lot of tech to this combo like aether reservoir ,vito, Jace ,Gix(you discard 40 lands from your hand and mill your opponent library, or even stall out control ,because if UW control can't destroy ivory than you simply wait to auto mill him
Deck is super fun when it works. Unfortunately, it's not very consistent. I often find myself needing a reliquary tower hit off of the treasure hunt, that doesn't come, or being a turn too short before my opponent swings in for lethal. Added Aetherflux Reservoir to make it a little faster. That also helps in the mirror, as I can blow up their Jace if they haven't quite self-milled yet. Edit: Added a couple of Choice of Fortunes to the deck, it helps a little bit with the infinite hand chances.
Adding another non-land card probably not a good idea here, it would work but in general it still gonna drop winrate a bit (because now it is even harder to hit right targets with first seeks). But I think that maybe just swapping out Jace for AE could work.
16:14 unfortunately no, MTG arena has a limit on how many creatures you can have out, doubling 1/1's will never reach the damage to stop your ivory towers
There is a reason that back in the day Ivory Tower was restricted and could only be played in Type 1 formats 😂. Of course we only had cards like Necropotence ... And couldn't draw more than 5 or 6 cards at a time but. Ivory Tower was clutch on the next upkeep to gain back a few points of life to continue the Necro- shenanigans. Talk about o.p ..(right Wizards) 😆

Not really? For one, you would need to add another color AND more non-lands that don't seek nonlands, risking to "fizzle" by loosing your drawengine. And, well... Sheoldred doesn't work? Neither seek nor treasure hunt draws you cards. Treasurehunt reveals the top card and puts it into your hand, so no draw. It then repeats that, it the revealed card was a land. -> Sheoldred only gives you 2 life per turn, which is an absolute joke compared to Ivory. Is easier to deal with, requires more mana and colors.

They could if the opponent had a way of putting it in the graveyard. Dollhouse scutes grow larger for each scute.
Scute Swarm + Craterhoof Behemoth would do it but yeah the game just dies at rendering more tokens anyways.
