Regularly wash your hair daily with shampoo to remove dirt and oil and to prevent scalp Infection.
Overnight massage with warm oil
Choose a shampoo and conditioner for your hair type.
Wash hair by rubbing shampoo into the length of your hair.
Gently massage shampoo into your scalp. while rinsing the shampoo let it flow through the length of your hair and dont rub it into hair.
Use conditioner after every shampoo. It should be applied on the tips of the hair and not on the scalp or length of the hair. Avoid hot water shower as it will make hair dry, brittle and dull. it strips protective oils. Lukewarm Water is preferred. final rinse hair with cold water.
Wrap your hair in a towel to absorb the water. Let your hair air dry.
Dont Dry your hair by rubbing it with a towel as it can cause hair damage but rather use cotton cloth. BLOW DRYING will make your hair brittle and dry. use blow-dryer sparingly and use warm setting OR LOWEST HEAT SETTING instead of a hot setting. Brush your hair in same direction of blow-drying and use the brush to pull your hair straight for smoother results. move your blow-dryer from roots to ends to prevent frizz. Avoid using blow dryers, curling rods.
Do not brush wet hair as they are weaker and more likely to break. use wide tooth comb and bush with ball-tipped bristles. brush less to limit Hair Loss
Don't believe myth about 100 brush strokes a day. Too much brushing will snap off hairs.
Don't Treat Dandruff With Oils. Rubbing oil into the scalp can make it worse. Shampoos with medicine are the best fix Leave the shampoo on for 5 minutes to soak into your scalp. Be sure to rinse thoroughly.
Protect Hair From the Sun as it can dry out hair, especially if it's colour-treated
DEEP CONDITION REGULARLY
USE DRY-SHAMPOO WHEN YOUR HAIR NEEDS A REFRESH
KEEP HAIR HYDRATED as it increases their health. use a leave-in hair cream and hair serum
Avoid Extreme Colour Changes
Use Gentle Colour to Cover Greys
stay within three shades of your natural colour.
avoid harsh hair colours and use natural colours only
Try to add more time between touch-ups.
avoid tight hairstyles like braids, buns, or ponytails.
Use covered rubber bands
wear weaves and extensions that are light, so they do not pull.
Keep up your scalp hygiene when wearing a weave or hair extension.
Pool chemicals like chlorine can be hard on your hair. Protect your hair from the damaging effects of by wetting and conditioning your hair before swimming. If your hair is already saturated with water, it won't absorb as much from the chemical-laden pool.
while swimming wear a tight-fitting swim cap
Rinse hair immediately after swimming. use swimmers shampoo and deep conditioner after swimming
have 1gram /body kg weight protein in diet
Do not do crash diet. avoid Sudden weight loss.
Make sure that all your nutritional deficiency and medical health conditions are treated
include Hair Healthy foods like Spinach, Nuts and Seeds, Eggs, Carrots, Sweet potatoes, Nimbu pani, Mint- Coriander Vegetables, Methi leaves, Beetroot- Amla juice, pumpkin seeds, green leafy vegetables sabja seeds, flax seeds , walnuts are rich source of omega 3 and can be consumed in moderation. Hydrate yourself with enough water
Over exercise can cause hair loss. Try to do head stand yoga .It increases blood circulation in head and helps in hair regrowth.
Optimise your Hormones like Thyroid, Androgen , Insulin.
Reduce any mental and Emotional Stress.
Avoid Smoking and Caffeine.
Switch to a silk or satin pillowcase. don't tie hair while sleeping.

Thank you Dr. Tanvi mam for such a helpful explanation. Let me tell my story as well. After covid I was earlier suffering from severe hair fall like 140-170 hair were falling per day. I tried many serums, oils, capsules, gummies etc but nothing worked. Then after doing a lot of research I changed my diet first, by adding more protein rich foods and decreased consumtion of white flour and sugar. Secondly I did warm up exercises to increase blood flow. Thirdly I ditched all chemical hair products i was using and started using Littleextra Cocoonion Natural shampoo and Hair oil for hair fall control. By following all these, today i lose no more than 10-15 hairs per day and which is quite normal. If anyone else is losing so many hairs they can also try doing what i did and i am sure it will help you.
