The story of dear Shanda broke my heart to the core, as a momma of 5 girls, it turned my stomach.
I was a little girl of 7 1/2 when this happened so i didnt know the story until now. Prayers to the Sharer family still as this is something that never goes away. 😢😢

I agree that that is the worst thing that can happen to someone in life, no matter what age. This young girl, I feel really bad for. I'm with you Omar, it is truly a tradgedy. Thanks for all you do. This case will always haunt me. I read the book that was written on this case, and it was horrific what Shanda went through. My god, people are evil!

I can appreciate Stephanie's love of animals. For 25yrs I was grooming show dogs /licensed animal trainer/licensed Veterinary Technician. I still groom a little on the side for just a few friends who have dogs. I had a meltdown mentally and decided I was done working with other people's pets. So I became a stagehand and get to attend any concert in town if I work during the show. Not to mention getting to meet the various performers on stage that night. Can't wait for Heart/Joan Jett show !!!!

Looked it up, she was initially brought to the castle and threatened and beat on a bit, but the actual burning happened near the Jefferson Proving ground just off Route 421.
Still... what an awful thing to happen, the worst part is the two girls who played the biggest part are being released soon. Personally think that Loveless chick should rot in prison as she was the biggest instigator in what happened to that poor girl

I remember when this happened and watching the news about it, it made international news, and yes it's very heartbreaking, my prayers are still with the family. I remember the documentary on this poor girls story too. Every parents worst fear and nightmare is losing a child.

Luci OMG 2 is the girls have already been released from prison...1 in 2000 and the other in 2006...the other two could possibly get out in 2020 with good behavior...it seems as if the stuff that happened to Shanda and the murder of her didn’t matter to Indiana since half the killlers are out already after serving less than 15 years... I feel sad that pathetic people like those girls get to be out on the streets again
