Careful.. moving objects it will be bad at like pets for example. Samsung has shutter lag and speed bad. Point and shoot photos it will not be good. Even in flagships like s23.

oh yes i understand, i dont like the original camera too, i just use the warm filter, adjust my face a bit and you're good to go! it changes the pic SO MUCH and makes it look more lively, try it and lemme know!

To me I have seen some examples shot with this camera that appeared over exposed? And Portrait Mode was much better using the 7A - if I bought the A54 instead - could I manually, using all of these "built in tools" enable Portraits to be much more to my liking? TKS
I find that even with HDR off, the pictures this phone takes still look like they have HDR, the darks are way too dark and the contrast is too high, I'd rather my pictures look raw and edit them myself. I just got yesterday and thinking of returning just because of this problem.

I wanted to record myself in my dancing classess, which I used front camera, yes this phone may do good for its rear camera, but the front camera sucks big time, the front camera quality is so poor, its worst than my rm600 redmi phone, the vision is so bad and blur... anyone can help how to workaround for this? it pains me so badly bcz it aint cheap though, i have seek help from the staff from the shops, no one could help me, i am in great despair and this phone didnt do what i wanted... how to workaround to get nice video quality for its front camera? using the rear camera is too much of a hassle for me to record myself dancing bcz i can see hence i can control my position etc... any settings, apps, or even device to use to workaround this flaw? appreciate the input from anyone, thanks

But this didn't tell me whether or not the front facing camera gets in the way of watching videos..be it 16:9 or modern day super or ultra wide movies ..THAT Is what I care most about. If the front camera is in the way..no sale.
As far as I can tell this camera has one major flaw. It needs a shutter control option that acts like a p&s digital camera where you can half push the shutter and the camera takes all the readings and then activates the shutter on the full press or in this phones case the release of the button. Taking flash pictures that aren't posed is so frustrating.
Does anyone understand why when you use the 50MP mode, you can't put the flash on definitively? Like there is only an option for flash off and flash auto but what if I WANT to use the flash even if it's bright according to the phone? There must be a way but I don't immediately see it.

I have this phone and it's decent. It performs fine, and the battery life isdecent. However, people say that the camera "excellent", and glorify it like it's the 15 pro max. The camera is ATROCIOUS! 0/10. The photos come out so blurry, like it's 5MP, not 12MP. There is no detail, it's so yellow, full of glare, fuzzy, and blurry. And DON'T get me STARTED on the "VGA" selfies! I tried to adjust every setting to improve the camera, but it is so bad! I need to get a galaxy s20 just for photography. I can go to Google photos, and download those photos onto my phone. I don't like unlocked phones, so I can't switch to them.
I got the S23 Plus and my girlfriend has the A54 and for the people who think it's a midrange phone well it is, but with normal usage there's almost no difference between my S23 Plus and the

Why is flash not working for video on selfie camera ???

I had a Google Pixel 6a for two weeks - it was a disaster, very buggy. Switched it out for this Samsung A54, and I love the phone and this camera.

im using an a54 and I rarely use it on full brightness . i only use it on full if I'm outside during a sunny day but very rarely

Try disabling Scene Optimizer. That'll tune down the oversaturation a bit.

The new ones have a 2 option on the main screen for the macro camera. So three options: .5,1,2
No it's not for macro. It is just for 2x zoom(obviously not optical)
