Not going to critique u Constantine. U always do a great job. And I’m too old and too chicken to up my own bass vids. A few things viewers need to remember: 1- every musician has an interpretation, therefore plays what they here. So is there a right way or wrong way? In my opinion, only in extreme cases where it’s dead wrong or incomplete or someone has studied the original for hours on end. 2- instructional vids are designed as guides, much like car repair manuals or assembly instructions. So, even though I think your cover is a little bland, I think it’s a great way for a beginner or less experienced musician to learn the root line, especially if their ear is t developed yet. Or in my case, My hearing isn’t what used to be, due to my profession. So keep it going, sir, you do great. I use your vids when I can’t hear certain notes or figure out a progression. Thanks much. BTW, your last name, where did it originate? Sounds Eastern European. Thanks again
Solid bass makes a band tight. Over complex things and you end up competing with the guitars and it gets sloppy. I often think a lot of 'shreddy' bassists would sound so much better if they simplified it a bit... or took up guitar.
@@williammorris7895 Shreddiness is bad if it makes the bass overbearing. It's just like if a jazz guitarist started ripping crazy distorted solos for no reason. Fast and intense bass is necessary to complement an equally fast and intense band. Think tech death.
