I have a 2022 GT-Line on order. Should be here in about six weeks. Mine has both premium packages so I'll get 10-way power seats, ventilated seats and rear AC vents - all things pretty uncommon in the compact class. Plus a Harman-Kardon premium sound system and literally every option and feature you'd expect in a much more expensive car - all for 25K (and my dealer isn't going to mark it up over MSRP). The Forte is a really solid deal. My only gripe is the ride is too firm on rough roads, but I can live with that. Wish they'd tuned it a little softer and left the sport suspension for the GT.
After watching your video I went to Kia and purchased the same exact car with color and everything. Let me tell you as someone who's been into Volkswagens all his life, I gotta say these Kia Fortes have more safety features than VW Jetta and Passat. Thank you for the video and I'm glad I left VW scene.

I prefer the steering in the Forte as well as the exterior Styling, however the Corolla 2.0 makes over 20 more horsepower and you can get them in a manual transmission. It’s all about preference. The Forte 2.0 makes more power than the base 1.8 engine from Toyota so it really all depends on the trim level. Personally, I’d probably go with the Forte GT with the manual bc it has over 200hp and costs only $1000 over the Corolla SE with the manual and I think the performance and styling upgrades are worth the $1000. If we’re talking about base models with the CVT, I’d go with whichever I could get a better deal on tbh.
Nice! I live around dyer kia. I’ve went to this dealership and I wish they wouldn’t throw in so many fees making them super expensive on a supposed to be inexpensive car. I got a 2021 EX trim
Bought my Kia Forte last month and was liking the performance and styling but then I got the bad news with news reports out of Milwaukee which detailed how easy it was to steal the car since Kia/Hyundai decided not to include a ignition kill switch in the steering column. Its so easy in fact that high schoolers were easily stealing the cars "especially the Forte" after just watching videos on how to do it and then going on joy rides. W.T.F. Kia/Hyundai, you should really do a recall and get this fixed.
Yeah that’s what sucks about owning a Hyundai/Kia my insurance company, Progressive, is making me pay a lot more for owning a Hyundai. The insurance agent told me Hyundai’s often get stolen so that’s why rate is high.

Do not reed all accessories just good quality rec who is interested can easily still the imagine and read it calmly, underline only some specialties. I agree with lot comments these cars are about price this trim or FE without fancy accessories more than GT one charged with extras could be a deal or I will upgrade for superior car. This is based on the 2017-2020 Hyundai Elantra. Same platform and engine. Same transmission. I don't know why Forte is always 1 generation behind. Anyway, I had a 2018 Elantra. I never had complaints about the power from this 2.0L. It's a peppy engine that gets amazing mileage. I'm glad they replaced the awful 6-spd automatic from the earlier models with this new smoother CVT.

So i just bought the lxs 2 weeks ago. Question. Is there a way to open the trunk from outside without using the fob, or the trunk latch inside? I dont see a button on the trunk from the outside.

I’d honestly probably just go with whichever I could get a better deal on🤷🏻♂️ I prefer the styling of the Elantra however I greatly prefer the interior layout of the Forte!
Have no idea what this trim is or what it contains. Why they are different in Canada vs US is beyond me. Should be the same for all of North America. I do know that there are way too many trim levels in the Forte compared to the Elantra and they gouge you with the push to start making you buy the Premium trim level to get it.

Cheap looking detached radio\infotainment display... Just like almost everyone else's vehicles. I refuse to by any vehicle unless it has a radio display that's molded into the dash.
Just bought one and im loving it. Its smooth, has room and has the tech for a great price. 42 mpg on my way to work today.

How is the ride quality? I test drove a 2020 Forte and the ride was unnecessarily stiff and a bit harsh. Hopefully they refined it for MY2022.
I personally found the ride quality to be pretty solid. The 55 series sidewall tires probably help

Yyup, that was an issue from 2011 to 2021.
They still have way to big of windshield posts, and the mirror placement looks the same, horrible blind spots
all the dealers around me are asking 25k plus for these things. I think its ridiculous
