Hi. Is the code a series of numbers? Or letters? Or is the code dictated by what sequence of buttons/switches you press? Hypothetically, could a thief just randomly press all the typical buttons/switches a number of times and get lucky? Many thanks for helping me understand.
Im interested to ask but what about when the engine is switched off via stop start? Would the immobiliser know its switched off via stop start and so dont have to input the code in again? Looking to get a ghost fitted in my new bmw im hoping to pick up soon
Had mine installed over a year ago great bit of kit, you can put it in maintenance mode for a very short time, at the garage for mot etc. The only drawback for me is, if you take the car to the airport on holiday or valet park it etc, you either tell the driver the start code or the vehicle is parked without ever being moved. Does that make sense. Worth every penny though
Hi I have ghost 2 installed on my car and it’s great I wondered if I could ask you a question I’ve had a situation twice now where I’ve been reversing and my car has stalled I’ve then gone to start the car and the car won’t start and I can’t even re arm the ghost by entering my pin code I then have to exit vehicle wait 5 mins and then I’m able to re arm and then start the car is this a common issue
How is this system installed on a vehicle? Does it modify in some way ECU like some tuning does? What kind of car & models this is valid for? Can I install this myself if not located in UK?

Nope, that’s not normal. I would contact your original installer
