That was awesome! I'd love to see you do covers of other songs using the looper. If you get your hands on the larger one, I think a great cover would be "How Soon Is Now" by the Smiths.
Great video and cool cover! It looks shockingly easy to use, especially compared to other loopers I've used. I just ordered one of these and can't wait to jam out. Gonna be awesome 🤟😎
Ooooh, new toy alert. I’m with you on the bigger one it looks insane. May have to get both, the small one to use and the X to scare me into practicing. Love the teardrops intro, that song feels great as a laid back acoustic vibe.
Did you add reverb in post to the master track? Or were you able to separate de signal of the vocals and the guitar. Sorry for the geeky recording question outside the looper LOl
Maybe an early days issue, but I encountered significant lag when sending MIDI commands from my MC6 to the Looper Plus which made functions requiring precise timing almost impossible. Also, it didn't sync particularly well with my BeatBuddy. I ended up returning it and going with the Boomerang which is better suited for multipart serial looping with a BeatBuddy. The Looper Plus is extremely well built however, and those sturdy pedals are the best in the business hands down.
Probably a silly question but I'm guessing when you were explaining about the number of bars you can record for that you can't record a full length song in one take, like for example play a whole song just rhythm, then overdub with the leads and fills and vice versa?
well... till now i somewhat dissapointed in this produce... i want to use very basic basic .. question.. I play basic i play A and B and then loop A and solo over A and then go back to either A or B section to finish the song.. But i need some time to go back to the A section to finish the song.. How do you get that time /delay to enter back the song say on the first beat..???
Very nice review, as usual. Million dollar question is; can you set it up so the mic goes to the A output only, so it doesn't come out to be B output? B in and out being electric guitar and amp, and A in and out being acoustic guitar (and mic). That would take my little Kustom mixer out of my pedalboard. Thanks
The only issues I have ever had with looper pedals are balancing the volumes of each take/track. This one doesn’t seem to address that. Perhaps the larger model does?
Some EHX loopers have per-loop volume controls, like the 45000 and bigger 96000. I think the Sheeran loopers are aimed at a specific person, but auto output levelling would be nice for a digital looper like this
Boss RC300 got that, you can change the volumes mid session individually up to three tracks. But yeah, it’s big. I’m looking for something smaller, like the one on the video. Or boss rc-10r
I think Ed Sheeran may have some serious competition in the future ! ... but don´t quit your day job just yet :) Thank you for your cool review and demo. It´s always a pleasure to see your YT channel - You are to blame for me buying so many new guitars.
A customer review noted the following about this pedal: "The playback is considerably louder and harsher than the input. It appears they are adding compression to either the recording or the playback. No way to adjust this." Have you noticed this?
So long push on the (Rec/Play) footswitch and it undues the last Loop Entry. Great for just throwing in some salt and pepper between more permanent loops
I’m going to use with Valeton GP 200 (check out UA-cam videos ) and my FS 5 the synchronization on Valeton clock drum machine about 100 drum loops all genres and Ability to change speed tempo tap or adjust to easy will work with this I’m believing . Reason is the Valeton won’t let you use two presets for one loop your fuzz becomes clean when you switch patches from fuzz to clean for like I can’t get no satisfaction
yeah it's a superb & very shinny looper with stellar FS !!! but for +300$ you got no Time Quantization, no Auto-Record, no Drum Loops (n therefore no Sync), no Auto Multiply Loops' lenght (like on cheapy the Valeton VLP-200), no Midi Out, no Loop level knobs ....i mean we are in 2024 folks n this looper is not cheap 🥴 (i have sent i back a couple of days after having it)
Dude .. I think someone vandalized your video .. Early on a Croc appears in the frame .. Obviously this is a cyber attack of some kind .. You may need to change all passwords, social insurance number, bank accounts, credit cards, passport picture, etc .. (Also sweet job on looping that song ..!!)
Jesus Sheeran ..is going to need a new Biro ..I was greatly annoyed to have bought some Chilli Sauce a couple of months ago..Tingle Teds ...and had to bin it when I realised it was as a product related to him..Chef..celebrity..music maker ..and now electronic effects units designer ..is there no end to this mans talent when signing off on development teams products?
I'm just going to throw it out there that the Boss RC 500 does everything this does plus a load more, has 3 foot switches and costs less. This is definitely easier to use but having now taken the time to learn my rc500 this looks like a downgrade in every way. It's just a bitch to learn where this one actually looks ligical and sensible.

Never thought I’d hear you cover Massive Attack / Liz Fraser! Absolutely superb re-imagining of that classic track. So impressive.
Thank you! What a fantastic song. It chills me every time I hear it
@@TheGuitarGeek man that was great ! Realy takes me places when i put that on
Lol
Oh, Man! Love my Looper X. Best looper pedal I've ever used...and I've used quite a few. Great video. Thanks.
That's a mighty fine guitar 😈
What a wonderful cover of Teardrop! Bravo!
That was a nice surprise.
For me too!
I meant the cover, not the gear
Unexpected and really well done.
Sometimes putting yourself out there is musically satisfying.
Great job with the Massive Attack tune!❤
You have the best reviews and demos! I love that you used the Acoustisonic.
That was awesome! I'd love to see you do covers of other songs using the looper. If you get your hands on the larger one, I think a great cover would be "How Soon Is Now" by the Smiths.
You and me had the same journey. Akai Headrush E2 with a mini mixer!! hahaha.
Just did my review of it too and those switches are GORGEOUS!
Nice! I still miss that pedal but boy was it tough back then :-D
Great video and cool cover! It looks shockingly easy to use, especially compared to other loopers I've used. I just ordered one of these and can't wait to jam out. Gonna be awesome 🤟😎

nice one andy :0) loved the M.A cover (loop)
THAT JAM in the beginning!
Thank you!
AMAZING! Great song to cover and brings back memories of my teenage years listening to Massive Attack with friends. Well done
I'm rocking Crocs too brother! Killer performance!
Did you add reverb in post to the master track? Or were you able to separate de signal of the vocals and the guitar. Sorry for the geeky recording question outside the looper LOl
It's a really great and useful tool! Also great to try out ideas and just to have fun. 😊
That was great! Except for the Crocs 🤪
Harsh, but true and it needed to be said :)
Crocs? And matching the t-shirt? 😂 Love it!!
This is outstanding,love it!
nice Crocs too :)
Beautiful!
Well done , Enjoyed it very much.👏🙏
Croc DaLoop, is your pirate name.
Hahahaa AAAAAARRRRRR
Wow you threw me right back to 2001 with that demonstration at the start...
Tasty intro! Love that song!
Great looping, I enjoyed that!
Thank you. One of my absolute favorites

Nice demo. Those single dial menu wotsits do my head in lol

Wow, awesome. So glad I saved my acousta strat. Thanks, that was awesome.😮
can you use those input level nobs as a volume level after you record your loops ?
well... till now i somewhat dissapointed in this produce... i want to use very basic basic .. question.. Use an external pedal for switching
Very nice review, as usual. Million dollar question is; can you set it up so the mic goes to the A output only, so it doesn't come out to be B output? Nice looping and nice choice of axe
Cheeers!
Loopers don't fit what I do, but I loved this video because I don't think I've ever seen you enjoy doing a demo so much! 😎👍
What a great setup for buskers
What do you think about rc 600. I am confused about which one should I buy - looper x or rc 600? Is sheeran looper x better than rc 600?
The only issues I have ever had with looper pedals are balancing the volumes of each take/track. This one doesn’t seem to address that. Perhaps the larger model does?
That’s a technique that can be learned/planned.But the Looper X might address that.
Some EHX loopers have per-loop volume controls, like the 45000 and bigger 96000. I think the Sheeran loopers are aimed at a specific person, but auto output levelling would be nice for a digital looper like this

Does one need to have the Boss FS 6 to play the first song?
No not at all
A customer review noted the following about this pedal: "The playback is considerably louder and harsher than the input. It appears they are adding compression to either the recording or the playback. No way to adjust this." Have you noticed this?
that last comment made me buy it: "this was thought out by a Musician".
Sounds great bro
So long push on the (Rec/Play) footswitch and it undues the last Loop Entry. Great for just throwing in some salt and pepper between more permanent loops
That Curve looks like a Mustang grew into an SG.

The only thing I have to say after watching this: Red Lorry Yellow Lorry Solo World Tour WHEN?????
Very interesting! It would have been nice to have a headphone jack like the X, but very inspiring! I guessed right at $300USD 😆

Let's all spare a moment for the feelings of engineers who play guitar.
I know a couple. They spend too much time worrying about how it should be done rather than just doing it.
why do most reviewers of this looper say stuff like, The Best, the one to get. Sounds like it's all coordinated.
Because if you’re a singer songwriter, this one IS the best one to get. I’ve never said it about any other looper
13.52 See his eyes sparkle. I spy GAS...
I think I'll stick with my Boss RC 300 for awhile yet. Any one else?
From the videos he has done it seems he has been all over this.

Are you ok?
@@TheGuitarGeek Yeah but Ed omniscient Sheeran is like a pandemic in human form 😬
Is it the Best Sound Quality Looper?
A $50 Looper won’t do if the Sound Quality isn’t there…
Those vocals are hard af mainly due to pronounciation "bias". KUDOS.
Thank you!
Nice piece of looping here ... so why do you complain/mention "talent not ... "
