Recommendations🍂🍂 - get a 26 bus to Clerwood (the end of the route), cross the road & walk up the grass field up Corstorphine Hill. This is the best time of year to go, the autumn leaves in the woods are so nice & it’s an easy walk. Good views towards the airport side but also head to the ‘Rest & Be Thankful’ viewpoint through the woods where you can see all of Edinburgh (castle etc). The path up there takes you behind the zoo & sometimes you can see zebras through the fence. Or get a 47 bus to Lauriston Castle, not an actual castle but a stately home in a park. The park has amazing views over the water to Fife and is nice at this time of year with the leaves, there’s a wee cafe there too. (The 47 bus also goes down to Cramond which is one of the prettiest areas of Edinburgh by the sea🌊). I’m from North West Edin & these are some of my fav places❤
