Because there was ZERO action in the FIRST period. Should’ve been a tech in the first period. Teemer doesn’t look like a title contender from this match.
if you really watch him wrestle all he’s doing is observing his opponents foot patterns and hand fighting. Thats how he was able to hit clean double legs and sprawl without much effort.
How can you be on your back for that long and not have back points called. that’s got to stop guys are on their backs having a match and they’re still no control for takedown.

respectable opinion, but what would you rather have a freshman getting teched this match or an all american getting bonus points for the team, im pretty sure a fan would care more about their team winning than how a person should wrestle for their team unless the person isnt wrestling to "winning" standards. thats jus me tho

I just wish Jacori was way more aggressive. I can’t believe he had a scoreless first period. That’s not the Iowa style.
