Great job! I know how to do the old kind, but these were giving me fits and I didn't want to break them. You did great. I agree. Why don't you have more views? I'll bet the negatives are from auto parts stores that want to sell you the whole friggen thing for $30+!!
Much easier! No need to remove the plastic cap, pull the blade inward until expansion and pull it out through that. Replace with a new one in the same way.
0:24 you don't even have to take that cap off. when you push the rubber refill back like that, you pushed it far enough to where you can start pulling it out. you aren't supposed to take that cap off. once you get to 0:24, you can start removing the rubber refill.
How do I get the new rubber refill in without taking the cap off? It doesnt seem to go all the way in, and I can't find any information on how to do it without taking it off.
I tried to be smart and took the rubber part out of a brand new wiper blade and refitted it back into my Classic Car Chrome Wiper Blade. All fitted fairly easily. NEVERTHELESS When I operated the windscreen washer; the wiper blade didn’t sit evenly on the windscreen (high spots) and most of the water remained on the windscreen. 😭
I just repaired mine similar to this, so it does actually work 🤷♂️. I even went the difficult way and took one like on the video and put it on the classic steel one
Ur a god man , spent half an hour trying to pry that plastic thing off
Thanks,, just what I needed to see about changing the rubber and not the whole blade,,
Thank you so much this saved me a huge headache with New blades that didn't come with a proper attachment

That’s what I did.
They don't all have that gap and you have to unclip the end.

Where can you get the refill blades that fit these bosh frames?

@@marek594 there should be an open notch next to the cap.
just pull the old one out of that notch and slide the new one into the same notch.
@@Hello-ig1px I'll try that, thanks.
This literally makes no fucking sense
Great my car came with this blade. Now I will just get a refill.
Where is the link so I can buy some

Very simple and helpful. Thanks! Now--- is the particular refill blade important or will any refill set work?
I believe they come in different lenths and widths.
Freaking life saver thanks
Thanks 👍
Excellent video, and easy explain
Mind. Blown
where can I purchase the blade refill? Been looking but can't find it. Rain X wised to sale it but discontinued it. Can't find it, not even on Amazon.
eBay. Look for Windshield Wiper Blade Refill. Then check the width to be 6 mm. They come long and you cut them to length.
@@princeinflorida214 Thank you
I cannot pull off the goddamn ending. Its moving a bit so its not solid glued.
How the fk did he pry that shit opened?
Tenks👍🏼
what's crazy today is you can buy an generic chinese beam type wiper assembly for under $2
Legend thanks
Except, rubber blade CANNOT be puled out and replacement rubber especially CANNOT be pulled in. intended to be bought new and not DIYed, like Apple.

Ya that stinking plastic pc comes off and so does a CHUNK of your finger!!! So be damn carefull!!!
Sure. You just press randomly after dragging rubber down and it comes out itself... BS
