I am Greek and live in the USA most of my life. I love the music and the dance looks great. I did not have the opportunity to learn how to dance. Viewing your lesson steps and the taps figures to learn to dance, gave the opportunity to get started. I am going to start this weekend, I love it. Thank you for making this wonderful dance step by step zeimpekiko video available for all of us. God bless you.

Incredible video. I am Russian so enjoy Greek music and culture. Zembekiko is one of my most favorite dances. Could you please make the part 3 for us. I am sure the dance still has got a lot of elements🦅😎👍🏻
Got a new video on youtube covering the steps for a syrtos. For Greek weddings and when going out, this is the most common dance you will do! Check it out...
The reason there are "figures" of tapping your shoes or feet, is because this dance was danced out door near a fire pit, by which you could get a cedar or coal or dust on your leather shoes, so you'd have to clean them or prevent them from burning. That's for the sake of the history behind taps of shoes and feet.

But also in Athens children have classes of Zeimpekiko in the school.
