My company did "blindfolds" once. They were a piece of black lycra. I'm sure these girls did that too.

A group had blind folds at a competition I was at once, and one of the dancers leaped off the stage onto the judges table!! She was okay, but she could have seriously hurt herself or others!

I had a blind fold for a solo, but it was meshy, so i could see through! But still with the light flashing in your face it kind of blurs your vision would not recommend for a group where you may bump into each other !
