I'm getting a lot out of Tom's series. I was last in a band in 1973 until I retired in 2016 and at the top of my bucket list was being in a band again. It took a while given that I had not touched a guitar much in 40 years (and I was a sucky rhythm player when I did) but our band, The Spyders, started gigging March of last years.
