Wolkenstürmer has his roots in Hamburg, Germany. North of Germany. We fly these Kites on the coast of the Northsea. There is pretty much wind. So it‘s not a lightwind ore trickkite. People here say: wind is, if the Sheep have no more curls😉 try im in 3-6 Bft😉
Yes.... I was guessing the same thing. I have been in that area and remember the wind! :) So yeah, it's not suitable for the south part of Germany (inland low wind).
Unfortunately, I think that the comfortable windrange is narrow..... I mean, it accelerates a lot on the gusts, the extra weight doesn't help to control the speed. With 5mm fiberglass it won't be more fragile in strong winds.

It is too heavy for light wind? Maybe it's better to begin with a kite that's too heavy rather than one which is too fragile in strong winds.
