As I pointed out, scaling their operation is the reason for a higher level of debt, which could mean that they are expanding (good sign) and potentially releasing new products in the near future. 3. Also, I noticed some comments over social media on the stock market drop (does not mean the company is going down ) and decided to do my own research and provide and objective point of view based on facts. 4. Customer support is an ongoing issue that seems to be a big factor. There seems to be an additional stress on an already stressed support (too many requests from customers). 5. SONY approved Clubsport DD+ and started shipping. 6. Formula V2.5X Deal was exceptional - $200 for wheel (no wonder there was such a huge demand).
There is no such thing as an "already stressed support", the CEO should know everything that is going on with the business but did nothing to improve their customer support since 2017. They've spend more money on marketing but no efforts to improve customer experience. Dealing with them was always a nightmare and it is not right that you are blaming the customers a bit by adding more stress to the company.
The break pedal on my V2s stopped working. Customer support took one week to respond to my first email, and all it had was reset instructions for the pedals. I had already tried resetting them, but tried it again just for fun and sent a reponse. Ive been waiting 5 days now and no response to that email. My case is still open, of course, but the response times have not been great so far. I'll wait until my case is closed to provide a final verdict.
I ordered *GranTurismo-DD Extreme, *CSL pedal bundle with load cell on April 2nd, 2024. Today on April 5th, 2024 the UPS man was at my front door with 3 boxes from Fanatec. All delivery problem fears for nothing Great service from Fanatec!!!

Just got my dd pro a month ago. Bricked live on stream. In the process of dealing with them on warranty. Will see if the customer service is getting better. Let's see if I can get a new one faster than I actually used it for 😂
I can’t believe that none of the UA-cam reviewers mentioned the whining coil on the Clubsport DD+ The issue seems everywhere. Either they kept that quiet or Fanatec carefully selected the review models. My wheelbase whilst having great force feedback is a noisy mess even with headphones on the mic picks up the whine and once heard it’s all you can concentrate on. Waited for months for this base. Now awaiting the infamous Fanatec customer back up service. Very disappointed both with Fanatecs lack of QC and reviewers potentially holding back issues.
I have the same situation and it was a surprise for me 😢 Moreover, after long sessions (4hr+) the base loses connection to the wheel. Apparently, this is a known issue with no solution yet. They say that the chip gets overloaded by lots of information pumped through a quick release connection. BTW in my case coil whine increases with time and holding force. The longer I game or the more aggressive I counter steer the louder it gets.
Ordered the GT DD Pro 15 days ago, no communication since. I noticed on their site it says "pre order available for March" now and it didn't when i hit buy so i'm gonna wait a bit longer despite the extreme frustration. Had i known i'd be waiting from the jump it'd be a bit different but the lack of communication and transparency is alarming particularly at these prices. Good to know I'm not alone in my plight though.

I think the biggest issue here on the sales end is that most reputable companies won't charge your card until your stuff is about to ship and you can cancel your order anytime with a click of a button on the webpagd until then... and that doesn't even get to the abysmal customer service... maybe this was ok when fanatec had very little competition, but they've completely slaughtered their reputation, and unless you have a Playstation, there are so many as good or better options now...
I still bought the gear shifter and load-cell brake from Fanatec the 6th April thinking that that will help them and it is still in Germany waiting the commercial invoice they and I have been asking for since then but no reply . I gave the benefit of the doubt but so far let me down . If it comes I want the handbrake that’s on pre order in June but this not come will not be but really want it . Not had a problem till now .great products I thing Just customer service is letting them down . Not replying to emails as usual not happy at all !

I dont have any experience with Fanatec and their company but i have been interested in getting into sim racing and getting a rig for myself, this is definetely not a good look for them when someone might want to get into their products. This in term means most new buyers will go to a different brand and will then further hurt Fanatec as a brand and company.
Imagine going through such a profit growth over the past few years thanks to customers and using this growth as an excuse to be an extremely scummy company. The real reason is mismanagement, infinite greed and a complete disrespect for customers, and Fanatec only have themselves to blame. The interview Fanatec's CEO has given confirms that he does not deserve the simracers' money as he has not owed up to his mistakes. He has not promised any changes in the future to convince people to purchase from them. Stay away from Fanatec, unless you like to be scammed.
What went wrong is ppl don’t understand manufacturing and proper channels that have to followed to make a product. Sony did not approve it fast enough. So if anyone is to blame it’s Sony. And for the ppl crying they did not get their product. It’s simple Sony took their time to approve it. Fanatec let you know it was making another product before you bought the old one. I never had any problems...Over the years I did 3 orders and all of than arrived in 4/5days...
I bought a clubsport wheel 1 week ago it said in stock , yesterday I emailed them they replied today with
