Hi! What is the best time to visit Namibia (weather, no rowd, etc.) PS. Good to hear you again, Ian. Thanks for bringing closer an interesting picture of that country.
Hi Nomad. The best time is from April to end of Oct. It is a very dry country so also very hot for anyone in a riding suit from Nov to March. My favorite month is May, having been there in Dec too, simply to hot the second you stop moving. Cheers Ian
@@nomad5176 Namibia is very popular with German tourists. The language is still spoken in most places so accomodation being pre booked is obligatory. Very few times have i been lucky to find someting in a good lodge other than when camping. All lodges are easily booked online.
@@ianlevy8765 Analysing a map of the country 12-14 days would be minimum at first time. From your experience with Namibian gas network, what is an optimal gas can capacity to have for backup?
@@nomad5176 Gas is available in most places but I follow one golden rule. Never pass a gas station without filling up. I carry a 6lt/1.5gal bladder on all trips. Only use it when i will be doing over 350km/220 miles.
Great video Ian - I was getting concerned I wasn't going to get my South African video fix...if you ever travel abroad you should join us for a trip through the Mexican Baja

@@ianlevy8765 Ian, did you travel with early booked accommodation or made it from the road?
