Heal The World is also the name of a charity Michael founded. Michael said numerous times that whatever tour he was on at the time would his last, yet he continued to tour, but on the Bad tour which was his first solo tour he adamant that Bad would be his final tour but he later embarked on the Dangerous tour to raise money for Heal The World. Michael’s oldest kid, his son, Prince has followed in his dad’s footsteps and has created his own charity called Heal L.A. In which he helps children too
MJ is in the Guinness Book for the artist who donated the most money to charity.

Michael said he wrote this song at his Neverland Ranch on his giving tree, he loved climbing trees and wrote many songs up there, he said he felt inspired 😊 such a beautiful lovely song ❤ it's true he always wrote about the world, We Are The World, Heal The World, Man in The Mirror, (although this one wasn't written by Michael, it was still his philosophy), they all have the same theme, and these are only 3 of MANY with the same message, this one was all written by Michael himself, you CAN NOT not love this song 💗💗💗

I love how you really get Michael's spirit🌟⭐️✨. He was crucified for his love of children twisted into the worst thing you could think. He was close to children for many reasons, their innocence and their honesty. So many adults had betrayed Michael but he could always depend on children to be truthful with him. You really need to do do his Super Bowl appearance. He was the first to put on a huge production and it is still awe inspiring. They had been trying for a long time to entice Michael even offering him a million dollars. He finally said if you donate that money to my Heal the World Foundation and allow my complete artistic freedom, I will do it. Michael had a tree at Neverland which he called the “Giving Tree,” named after a book. Michael would climb this tree and sit in it for ages, since climbing trees was one of his favourite activities, and he said he wrote or got ideas for a bunch of songs in that tree and this was one of the many songs
The world really needs Michael right now, we need his message of hope and peace more than ever, he is so missed!!! Well, at least he left us this real masterpiece that will last for all time!! One of my absolute favorites!

The Bad Tour was actually supposed to be his last tour, the Dangerous Tour, the only reason why he went on that tour was to raise money for his Heal The World Foundation! Here is what he said while making his announcement:
"The only reason I am going on tour, is to raise funds to the newly formed Heal The World, an international's children's charity that I am spearheading to assist children and the ecology. My goal is to gross 100 million dollars by christmas 1993. I urge every corporation and individual who cares about this planet and the future of the children, to help raise money to the Heal The World charity. The Heal The World Foundation will contribute funds to pedriatic AIDS, in honor of my friend Ryan White. The Heal The World Foundation will also offer support to such worthwhile organizations, as Camp Ronald McDonald, Make A Wish Foundation, Children diabetes, Minority AIDS Foundation and other charities. I'm looking forward to this tour, because it will allow me to devote time to visiting children all around the world, as well as spread the message of global love, in the hopes that othere too will be moved to do their share to help heal the world." 🥺😭❤ Michael was a true humanitarian 😊

By the way Michael not only sang about helping people but it is also said that he donated over 500 million dollars to several charities during his lifetime to provide healing especially for children and the amount can be even larger, most of the time he donated anonymously with no cameras around, that estimated number was disclosed only after he died, it wasn't for attention, it's sad it is not very known, Michael said himself: "to heal the world, we must start by healing our children". He also always threw pillows and bought pizza and asked his securiy to give them blankets whenever he saw them on the streets outside of where he was, what other artist does that for their fans????

No one these days are writting about these topics anymore, Michael truly loved children, he knew how neglect and abuse and lack of a childhood affects children due to his own experiece and he always only tried to stop it or help in any way he could, so sad how people tried to twist it to make it seem like something horrible was going on 💔

That's what I love about Michael, his music was always positive for the most part unlike artists today. if you listen to his lyrics there was always something positive like Beat It, Heal the World or Man in the Mirror. Also songs like Another Part Of Me “we’re sending out a major love”, We Are Here to Change The World and even Bad “we can change the world tomorrow, it can be a better place” , if you really listen to the lyrics there is always positive. It wasn’t until the media made up stories it started to really get to him and he started getting defensive with the HIStory album and songs like Scream and Tabloid Junkie, but even then there was also the song Smile in there where he is encoraging people to smile and keep on trying.
this and earth song always have me on the verge of tears JUST WAIT TILL YOU HEAR EARTH SONG!! Got chills right now. Also this started a fundraiser which Michael donated all earnings from the super bowl to healing los Angeles. One of his sons still keeps this going today😢

Idk when people react to MJ’s music it’s like your first time hearing it. There’s this new feeling i get & the song I’ve heard millions of times sounds even better!
i grew up with his message and i so much believed in his vision that i walked around with the feeling and believe that everyone wanted to be good and everyone wanted peace and love and acceptance and the evil ones are a minority. When i look at the world today every day i lose a little more of this believe because he is no longer here to reassure me. To see his music is still able to get into the hearts of someone who did not know or like him at all for the longest time and just now learns this in the year 2024 gives me back some of that hope in humanity. thank you for listening.

Mj took this healing the world very seriously. Even Guiness Book of World Records recognized him as the artist who donated most money in charities.. i think until now no one ever break that record of him.. during the dangerous concert tours he donates all the money gained from that concert to charities and every country he went, he always goes to a children's hospital giving gifts to children visit them and donate to the hospital. Thats how serious he was up to his last breath.

I think you’ll know what case I’m talking about Seph since you’re from the UK but in the early 90s there was a toddler who was abducted and murdered by two other kids. Michael heard of this and personally wrote a letter to the toddler’s mum giving his condolences and this song was played at the baby’s funeral

I am so saddened that the world did not hear his message.. children are being starved and bombed in Gaza right now and the world is silent. MJ through this video tried to teach us that innocent children are always the biggest victims of armed conflict and that soldiers should throw down their guns and refuse to cooperate with evil. That was the message of Aaron Bushnell as well. Don’t let the empire use you for their evil. I wish all the soldiers would hear this message.

There was a massive terror attack here on October the 7th when 1,200 people were murdered, alot were ra*ed and 250 were taken hostage by terrorists including alot of poor children, and dear people I know and love. I am supposed to get drafted in a few months and fight in this war, and honestly I just want all the terrible deaths to stop. Im gonna write information about the songs under every reaction of the album you've done so far, i was really busy in the last days. By the way, i dont think you read my reply under the last reaction but i told you that since you dont wanna watch the live performances if you do an era all together (the album + the era itself), the best thing we can do is just react to all the albums first🔥 We will cover Michael's life era by era after you've heard them all, dont worry about that🔥

I think i have to agree with mark on this one Alex, it makes more sense to see his life as i complete each album, but the live performances i can leave for after ive done all his albums. If i do all his life story afterwards i wouldn't get to listen to a song for perhaps months. So breaking them up with albums inbetween is the happy medium for everyone including me "I love hearing him sing haha"

This the first time I'm seeing someone say they don't like earth song. That's unbelievable to me and incredibly rare
@for-house-stark I know.. tbh I wasnt feeling much of the HIStory album when it was released.. I remember being a kid when it finally came out and being dissapointed.. Perhaps because it was so entrenched in the aftermath of the allegations (most of the album was MJ ranting angrily about the situation which is fair but took away some of the creativity) and the media circus around his marriage to Lisa Marie.. I felt Earth Song was a bit over sensationalised, the stage performance didn't help either. To me, Dangerous was MJs last complete body of work and still had alot of the spark/shine from the late 80s. The first few short films reflected that. Funny coz Earth Song was actually recorded during the Dangerous sessions! Not a bad song... just didn't really feel it. Sorry for the essay, just a passionate MJ fan! 🤣
