It's really f***ing careless, just like how they're integrating AI into everything now without a clue how fast it learns. Even professionals who designed it predicted it would take ChatGPT about a year to learn certain advanced things. It learned them in 5 months. When technology starts to supersede humanity like that, we've got a problem.

I'm just young enough or rather just old enough to remember what playing outside was like or what travel and communication before getting entertained by a computer or a cell phone meant.
So in 2014 I graduated high school and moved out and I didn’t get internet for 2 years I just bought DVDs of old tv shows and played nothing but fallout 3/ new Vegas and halo wars against the AI
Communications wouldn't be as catastrophically affected as you say, it just means that companies would need to learn how to use a phone instead of fobbing everyone off to their bot controlled email address

For example, even 15 years ago you had trucks that were tied in to their electronica logging system so that you could not run them until after the electronica log confirmed you had time. Well it does that by confirming with the company over the Internet. You would wind up with a certain amount of equipment that would have to be “repaired” for it to work at all.
Well this is yet another thing I can add to my I-hope-this-will-never-happen list. But as the video suggests, we may be able to survive regardless. ;-)
