Awesome video Lisa! Can you do some smack down videos of the various smartwatches? I am trying to decide between Samsung, LG, and maybe Fitbit. The Fitbit may be a little feature poor for me though. I am hoping the next LG gets announced this year.

Hello, Lisa. How are the vibrating alarm features? Does it offer multiple alarms? Can the Bluetooth/WiFi communications be disabled to extend battery but still keep existing alarms functioning? I'm currently using the Huawei Fit which has a pretty decent smart sleep cycle alarm.

Vibrating alarms are awesome, just woke up with it today & yes to multiple alarms. Not sure about your last question but I've only had it a few days & so far the battery life has been great. Battery is currently 68% & I have done a ton with it to test it out.
Good review! I like the versa but it’s very similar to my blaze so think I’ll stick with that. Would be nice to have the waterproof feature tho.

PentaFalcon I know right! This is fitbits biggest step in towards the Pebble Time range of design language and they have a decent number of buttons. If they release a version of this with passive screen technology that is always on then and only then will I leave Pebble, a watch that is black and blank by default and then lights up a room when it comes on is more akin to a toy to me than a utility but I like titbits sensors and OS

I think it might be really worth looking into the New Amazfit Bip. It really seems to be a more complete spiritual successor to the pebble, as it has the pebble priorities; longevity, battery life, charm and cost. I think you'd give it a fair review.

I am using a pebble Time, and it is good for the price.
The only reason i want a smart watch is to listen to (and quickly change play and pause) music while im snowboarding (so my phone is not in and out of pocket getting wet with snow). Can it run music apps and have bluetooth to link to headphones?
Yes. It can store about 300 songs internally and can connect to Bluetooth headset directly. No GPS though (it uses your phone's GPS)

Good review as always. I have a Samsung Gear S3 frontier. The frontier is superior to this watch in every way except battery life. The music transfer system is very frustrating to use on the fitbit
I like the Gear S3 quite a bit, though I can't wear it because it's like having a Hummer on my wrist. I wish Samsung would make one that's small wrist-friendly.

I don't really mind bezels but they look a bit too big for the Versa. Also, the UI seems a bit sluggish, but I guess it's affordable so can't complain.
The digital pets starve to death while the owners, with best intentions, just get fatter. The irony is strong in Fitbit. 🤣

My wife’s lasted a whole 30 days and customer service is horrible. We are very happy with the 3rd Generation Apple Watch.

I have, but you said 2 weeks ago which would have been 4/17 that your wife's fitbit versa lasted a whole 30days. except the versa wasn't released until 4/16. The versa hasn't even been out for 30 days. So how could she have it for 30 days, talk to customer support, and then switch to apple watch if that amount of time hasn't even passed
If Fitbit make another in this family with a passive display tech (so that watch face is always on and battery is for weeks not days) I will go all in, until then it's Pebbles for me. Does everything I want, voice replies, heart rate alerts ( medical condition) canned replies,emoji replies, simple apps like full control over my home smart lighting
Unfortunately, the lack of a built-I'm GPS is a deal breaker for me.

Fitbit needs to learn not to put the logo on the watch face. It's not hand crafted watch to push the logo on the front. Even Apple doesn't do that. It doesn't matter how good or bad it is, if there is a logo that stares at you every time you look at it, it is no go.

Me too. Circle is really weird for long text. But these have huge bezels though. So fair game, more or less real estate as circle face.
It’s pretty obvious really why people made round smart watches its because the circle in a watch format is universal. Personally not bothered about shape i have an Apple Watch and i keep reasonable fit but to me the Apple Watch is a waste of space its ok but its just not worth it. Hence why its back in the box and i now wear Xiaomi band 2 £18 and way more worth it for me
