    I just came across your videos and I love these designs and your templates! I just wanted to say when I will be making the storage pods and these bottle holders, I will be boxing the corners like I do in bags / purses. I had been taught that while they are still inside out to attach the box corners to each other, meaning the inner toothy outer.

      I'm sorry I clicked on the wrong thing and wanted to continue my message LOL. But I connect those before turning out or birthing the bag. To me it turns out so much neater with the lining staying in place. I know this is an older video but still I want to thank you for posting!

    I saw this method of turning handles a couples of years ago. It was for a Japanese knot bag. The outside was sewn in 4 sections, instead of 2. You have 2 handles to turn. That means, your outside could be made in 4 different fabrics. You have a seam in the middle of the front and back of the bag. I had only made 2 Japanese knot bags, because of my hatred for doing the handles. Once I discovered this method, I made several Japanese knot bags and really enjoyed the process. They were now, so much fun to make. I forgot to say, thanks for the video. Love the bottle bag. Just ordered the template. Thanks.

      Sounds very cool & something I will have to try & maybe incorporate into a video someday - thanks for sharing! And thanks, too, for your order. I got it bagged & labeled & it will be heading to the post office in just afew minutes with all of my other Cyber Monday orders. BTW - Martelli is coming out with a template for the Knot Bag. I think it will do just what you're talking about.

    Do you think this could be doubled to make a double water bottle carrier?

    • @Lindavideos
      @Lindavideos  7 місяців тому +1

      It could depending on the bottle that you use but.... bottles vary so much! Being on the fold, you can adjust this template for a # of bottle sizes & styles & change out the handles to make a strap. Let me know if you do it!
      I want to come out with a template to make a drink carrier but the size & shapes of bottles and drinks in general vary so much that you'd have to have something that is customizable. Haven't come up with a favorite style and method yet but you never know!

    Forgive my ignorance but will this be tall enough for a standard bottle of wine? Not sure if that's what you showed in the sample since you mentioned various drink options. And either way I guess it's not hard to make it taller with the existing template by adding a few inches to the fabric. I'm new to sewing in general so I appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.

      No worries; that's a great question! I didn't talk much about it in the original video but did address it later. The template gives enough height for a typical wine bottle - but - not all bottles are typical! In another video I show how to easily move the template a bit to add length to the strap. The one that is red & white with the leaf appliques is taller to hold larger bottles. If you get the template & have questions I can help!

      @@SoniaScrapbook Hi, Sonia - I couldn't find it! It may be something that we did on Facebook Live or during one of my WWL Presentations before. So, I'll do another video showing how to lengthen as well as a few others things but it probably won't be till next week. Call me when you are ready to do it & we can either Facetime or I can walk you through over the phone.

    Hi! thanks for the video. I just want to ensure the bag can hold an average size bottle of wine - Standard overall height of and diameter of 2.95” (7.5 cm). The Standard Wine Bottle holds a volume of 25.4 oz (750 mL).
