Anything cant do more than 50% of player hp if its a "hit" (exept for fall dmg, head explosion,lord regent grip etc) i had tested it and know from my experience with mudskiper bloodlords. Deepwoken made an update a very long time ago shortly after the ice spike traps incident where you can’t do more than 50% of someone’s hp in one move. This was cause ice spike traps were one shotting everyone back then.
While the hardcap is 1.75x dmg from YOUR end, debuffs like taunt and ardour scream dont count into that and actually add ontop which gives you a 2x dmg multiplier I believe

Damage buff is capped at 75% hard. After 50% all increases are halved up to 100 which means that the highest is 75%.

the tool tips in deepwoken say that the soft cap is 50% then every 2% counts as 1% up to a maximum of 75% damage bonus once u reach 100%
