Having a good microphone that can Actually pick up words and conversations beyond 12feet is very important. Most of these things have awful microphones that only pick up within 10ft
Nice product and another fun review. If you are in the United States and using this, know your state laws however. One party consent in one state may change to two party consent when you cross into the neighboring state.
Great looking device that has more than suitable recording quality.
Remember if you are using one of these that the entire country of Canada is a 'one party state". That means you only require permission from one of the participants to legally record a conversation. You are not required to disclose the fact you are recording.

Im sorry but that microphone is not going to pick up someone talking 10feet away. Or making a threat. The sound quality directly ontop of it is barely passing.
