TY for these simple directions. I’m new to crochet and I especially appreciate your reminders about how forgiving this yarn and pattern is. Will be looking at more of your videos!
I’m social distancing and laid off from my job (due to covid) so the falcon made me smile. Made me feel like I was outside 😊😊 thank you for your video!
Thank you! This was so much easier to follow than the other videos that I have seen on UA-cam! I made my first successful scrubby thanks to you! Yay! It is not a perfect scrubby, but it looks like one, so I am happy!
No worries its practical and used for scrubbing, I'm sure yours is GREAT! Thanks for leaving me this lovely feedback! (I'm currently working on these for the holdiays!)
I bought a yarn stash tonight and it has this yarn in it and came across your video. I so love this pattern and thank you. The curve idea is brilliant. I am a young channel and having a very rough start. I just want to thank you. I am so enjoying it. I will leave a link to this video. I am mixing colors and that makes it more fun.
I'm a 53 yr old man that has never ever done anything like this. My aunt made me some of these and I like them so much....I may just give it a whirl. Thanks for the video!
HAHAHA!! I edited the video.. and I'm pretty sure I say falcon wrong, but I went with it anyways lol.. so the video has only been up for an hour and I already have a thumbs down. Its either because they hate falcons, or hate the way I say falcons right?! :p lol I'll get a picture of this bird and post it on my facebook! ...who knows it might actually be a hawk lol. I'm so glad I could entertain your cats! Thanks for watching :)
Just made your scrubbie. Great tutorial I used Red Heart Scrubby but not the sparkly one you did. I didn't double up the yarn as thought I would try it with single strand. It turned out ok. Edges have curled a bit but not as much as yours. Not sure if the yarn doubled up would make a difference.. Great work thanks
Thank you for your easy to follow, detailed tutorial! I am new to crochet so your tips and facts about how many scrubbies I could make with one skein, and the different ways to double up the yarn was very helpful. And I like how you gave options on making the double stitches and that made me feel less stressed. I was hoping to see the falcon, lol, maybe next time. :)
Thanks for the positive support! I appreciate it so much. YOU ARE IN LUCK lol I posted it! I have now determined he/she is a red shouldered hawk! facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=789958601355716
I have watched other videos on UA-cam on how to make scrubbies. I have to say this one seems to be the easiest one . . . So far. I've been crocheting for a little over a year now and I learned how to crochet from watching UA-cam videos :) Yesterday I had to look up a video on crochet abbreviations . I think I have them all wrote down now.
Oh my goodness I might actually be able to make this one . With that yarn it is HARD to see your stitches so thank you for the video. . . I'll try it again! :)
Have some scrubby yarn that has been laying around. Nice video. Will try this very soon. If you don’t want it curved can you do double crochets in the last row?
I really think the curve helps a lot with gripping because it does lather really well, but if you dont want it, you'll want to *sc, 2sc, and repeat around.
HI! can you explain again how did you manage to get the two strands? What I understood was that you first winded the yarn from the original thread, so you have an end coming from inside? and the other from the outside? >.< But in the video, I think I saw two ends coming from inside. How did you manage it? ETA: ahh! I think I got it.. but I'd rather wait for your answer, just in case 😅
Angi, God Bless you and thank you for your wonderful videos. I like your step by step verbal instructions and your wonderful close-up videotaping also. I don't have Facebook I watch u tube. Do you have a online site with printed out instructions? That would be very helpful too. Or a email contact? Love Tamson from Kentucky. 😇
Thank you so much Tamson. You guys keep me going. I will have the written directions up tomorrow on my site: www.crochettherapyshop.com my blog is through etsy. It doesn't have a search option yet. I'm using a mailinglist to update my following of new free patterns. My email is: crochettherapyllc@gmail.com leave me yours and I'll put you on the list!
Thank you kindly for the great tutorial. Easy to understand, simple directions and very clear and concise work. 🦋
I love the falcon! I haven’t heard one since I was a little girl at my grandmother’s house. Wonderful memory of a very peaceful time!

Love this pattern I have made three scrubbies. Thank you for sharing this pattern.

I have been consistently making these for 2 years and everyone loves them! I am constantly getting asked for me! Thanks again, so much!🤗
simple, simple.. thank you.. makes being stuck at home, doing social distancing, less boring... Would have loved to see the falcon..
Thank you Donna! I agree. I've made so many of these this summer. Quick and useful!
I love these. I am making more to give as gifts. Thank you, thank you.
You are so welcome! These are my favorite to gift as well. They last years, work up quick and useful for everyone!
Ha ha my cats are going crazy listening to the falcon!! They are looking everywhere for it 😄

@@keepfxckinggoing making your scrubbie now!
How did it go??!
Just made your scrubbie.
Great tutorial
I used Red Heart Scrubby but not the sparkly one you did.
I didn't double up the yarn as thought I would try it with single strand.
It turned out ok.
Edges have curled a bit but not as much as yours.
Not sure if the yarn doubled up would make a difference..
Great work thanks
I made the ones out of Tulle. I haven't used this yarn yet. Looks great I will make these. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Thanks so much for leaving me the FIRST comment! I'm glad you enjoyed the tulle ones! This is the first time I've used this yarn too :) Enjoy!
Very nice! Can’t wait to try these! Thanks for sharing!
If you’d like it bigger, I did another row of 2dc in 1 stitch, 1dc in stitch and repeat. Then followed with the single crochet !
Yet to try this but great tutorial thank you.
My puppy is going crazy with the birds, lol

I know, not my typical project yarn, but practice because it is so worth it!
Thank you. Your way is really easy.
I am so happy to hear that!
Doggie next to me is wondering about the bird noise!! 😂❤
This is my favorite scrubbie tutorial. I wrote it down because I loved it so much. It was Angi Vale. Any idea why this changed? Still the best!

My pleasure!
Is a printed version of the pattern available anywhere?
Updating my blog right now! Go check it out, link is in the description.
I've crochet all my life i can not use this yarn at all to hard to see the stitches
Try adding a thread or thin yarn to it. You'll be able to see the stitches better

Yes thats what I did but then... I wound them into cakes with my yarn winder :) I do it to prevent knots and frustration.
Nices me encantó 👍🥰
