Hi Rutty! Good Vlog! I liike your food reviews on your channel. I’m a foodie, so ☺️. I had my first trip in Cartagena last week with family and I am going back next week with some friends. I will make sure I try more natural juices and more deserts for sure. About the golden berries, I had a similar reaction. I had them with crepes and chocolate drizzles. I was like “what is this?” 😊😊 So sweet and tangy at the same time. I think they’re called “Uchuva”. I bought a jam to come back to the States. I would like to visit Medellín next.
Im glad you found good food, I went in October and the food was very underwhelming for me. However I love Cartagena! I'm leaving for Bogota tmr hopefully the food there will be better for me. Did you go to Palenque while there?
Before traveling there I kept seeing videos of people complaining about the food. I was shocked once I got there cause I had some really good food! I only had two bad experiences. One left me speechless & hungry😂 No I didn’t go to Palenque, but definitely will next time!

The jam sounds lovely!! If I tasted the golden berries earlier on in the trip, I would have looked for them while I was there.
Cartagena was my favorite trip this far. The itinerary offered by the travel company I used was en pointe.
Most of those dishes I would try.
