Sesame Street - Dogs bake homemade bread
Вставка
- Опубліковано 13 чер 2007
- This is a rare post for me because it's a Sesame Street segment from the mid to late 90's. Although I collected tons of 70's classic segments, I recorded this one because I found it hilarious. This is the funniest "modern" Sesame Street segment I have seen! In fact, the ONLY funny one in my opinion. There were a few of these "dumb dog" segments in the 90's but this is the only one I have. I'm sure it's the funniest one though. This video will attract the "younger" Sesame Street fans, who by far out-populate the older fans like me. The proof is the 30 to 60,000 hits the "newer" late 80's and 90's segments are getting.....and they were only posted one to two months ago!
A few years ago my family adopted a weimeraner puppy. I was surprised to discover that they actually had humanoid bodies and hands.
😂
@SEAN PETAIA I am
@SEAN PETAIA me lol
😂😂😂😂
You know it just some actors looks like a dogs head I think they put CGI and green shot
I lose myself everytime, not because the dogs are made to look like they have human bodies. But because they're made to look like they know what they're doing and can stare off into space at the same time...
Pewpman Jim not when you’re making homemade bread 🤣
Lmaoo
My favorite part is that one of the dogs was trying to eat the dough and the human hand was tapping it's muzzle! 😅
"good bread requires precise measurements" *spilling flour absolutely everywhere*
_That's the joke_
Lol
@@pgj1997 Yes, and it’s very funny, is the point I was making.
Perfectly captured puppy logic
And as a child, I thought nothing of this. Now, as an adult, I think about this alot. 0.0
One of the most absurd things I've seen.
lemon handgrenades omg SAME
Brian Cummings' 10 Days of Home Visit
Premieres Wednesday @ 3:00 | 2:00c
Hilarious right
@@mrsinister8978 *You mean cute, not absurd lol! 😂😂😂😂*
I just love how the dog is trying to eat it while they are making the dough. the memories this brings back...
I thought it was funny because the dog is doing what dogs normally do when it comes to food!
Same 😂
Man I thought this was some childhood fever dream.
"2 hours? I'm hungry!" That part always cracks me up lol
Me too, had me rolling! "And then 40 minutes?!" 😂😂 These are way funnier as an adult!
These use to freak me out as a kid but now that I'm older it just looks ridiculously hilarious especially the dogs licking absolutely every thing and the hands shoeing the dogs mouth away 😂
Sure hope they don’t stare through my window or my creepy staircase
oh god THEY are invading!!
Omg I remember loving this skit as a kid but watching it as an adult, HILARIOUS!! I'm so glad I thought to look them up again. I love when things are still good 30 years later 🥰
Ive had nightmares about these since i was little and always thought i made them up in my head or something but now that I'm watching this i fully understand where the fear came from
Me too!!!!! I only remembered the nightmare today it’s been since I was 4
On god bro
Same here but I have no clue of where the fear came from. I find it just creepy
these things are straight up demonic looking. just imagine the sick fuck who came up with the idea to show this shit to kids
@@j.6378they're just dogs
something just popped out of the deepest crevices of my mind
it's called an aneurysm my guy
I truly believed this art form was embedded in realism as a child. My parents seriously had to explain to me how it worked XD
I never even bothered to question it. I just went with the flow.
I was so easily convinced as a kid of whatever unnecessarily deep and thorough hypothesis I constructed 🤣🤣🤣 once I put it together I was then convinced to try to fool my family by forcing our dog to comply with my antics 😭
Am I the only one who loved the crap out of this as well as the milk one.
"Good dough requires precise measurements"
*Dumps in imprecise of flour and licks the jar*
LOL the dogs are licking everything!
Well they are dogs after all! That's why I find it funny!
This part was creepy as a kid but damn I had memory of these guys
My mom hated this so much that she couldn't watch this with us. Its stuck with me after that and I eventually became scared of it. looking back I just find it hilarious
I’ve always found this hilarious and I still don’t get why people think it’s scary 😂😂
It seems uncanny in the minds of developing children.
There is a youtube series that uses these dogs in vhs tapes. REALLY disturbing. There is a dog in a red flannel that has the head of dog but the body of a man. The main character in the series had a dog, and ran away and then the red flannel dog started appearing. ua-cam.com/video/DVj5Ks7Wf9s/v-deo.htmlsi=HYMmBxYxBdHrlX2L Here is a good explanation
Uh anolog horror haha
You watched this as a child? And didn't find it scary?? Lol
When I was little, I thought it was scary. The scariest thing is the dogs face stearin right into nothing. Also I was wondering why they even have human hands? A few years later. I found out.
Humans with dogs' heads. A surreal, Egypt-esque feel in Sesame Street.
William Wegman's dogs are so wholesome and funny. Thanks for the upload!
trippiest shit ever
I wish I knew how the people were talented enough to make it look like dogs were making the bread. I'll tell you this; this is one of the best Sesame Street clips I have ever seen.
I remember not being able to fall asleep at night thinking these human dogs would appear in the corner in my room. When my nightlight burned out I would scream until it was fixed
they still might
I loved this as a kid look at me now I turned out fine.
Trust this man, he is wise.
Aran Ransul ...but this man is a horse...
@@Rosehawka TRUST THE HORSE!!!!
What's up Bojack Horseman, I'm a huge fan of your show. Oh wait a minute, I'm talking to the wrong humanoid horse dude aren't I? Lol.
Jmop74 I did too!!! Lol
aw I love these!! It's so deadpan and I love how the dogs take no notice of the hands. So funny! As a kid I could rarely hear these because I was laughing so much!
When I watched this as a kid I didn't think it was so weird, but now as an adult this is funny lolol
My tooth....the bread is stuck on my tooth!!!!!
I love the flour and the salt part. I also love their nonchalant expressions on their face. So adorable!
This scared the hell out of me as a kid
Yes me too. My mother just reminded me of this today. Said i used to cry.
tiggah95 THANK YOU! Someone understands!
tiggah95 It should....those dogs were on Acid! the whole thing is REAL!
Same with my brother, and it still does scare him today.
+tiggah95 This is scary as fuck.
I thought about this for some reason and I didn't know it existed or if it was just a made up memory.
This is somethings you’d see on inter-dimensional cable
I love how at 0:41 the dog tried to eat the dough lol 😜
What makes it even funnier is how you can tell the owners of the arms are pretty much blind
Lol I didn't pick that up.
The nostalgic feeling of seeing this again pleases me
Sesame Street did some really avant-garde sketch comedy and we don’t talk about that enough
I used to love these as a kid. And now as a dog daycare manager and avid home bread baker...it all makes sense. 🤣🖤
0:41 dogs:GAVE ME THE FOOD.
guy:WAIT YOU PIECE OF ugh...bake for 40min
That makes the video way less nightmare filled thank you for making it sound lit XD
There NEEDS to be a cooking show like this!
“2 minutes? I’m hungry!” Why is that me tho?
"Good dough requires precise measurements"
*Dogs dump in massive amounts of flour* Lol.
More than 10 years old
Less than 2 minutes
Low quality
This is a good one
0:41 I have to smack my own face away from the food I'm cooking all the time.
It looked like the dog on the right was going to eat some of the dough!
Proof that even Sesame Street could sometimes feel like an acid trip
One of my favorite childhood memories from Sesame Street. :)
Lol, this was so funny as a kid. I never understood why they didnt show this much. Now I learned that people were frightened by this, so maybe they got complaints? I dont get it, but I still love it
I wonder what the dogs were thinking during film
"two hours? I'm hungry!"
The best part of this joke is how consistent and dedicated it is to the setup. Outstanding!
I don’t remember the Wegman’s Dogs segments being this uncanny, what the hell maaaaan.
I remember these, they never struck me as weird...and now I re-watch it and I just laugh.
These dogs are very WILD! I have one myself named Ringo, He is too crazy, These doggies are just so behaved its amazing to see a Weimaraner not chewing on my favorite shoes, or my kitchen table! But baking bread! Awesome =)
I had a random memory of this emerge today, so I looked it up. Yup, just as traumatizing as I remembered.
Lol
Who knew dog people lived such interesting lives: counting lemons, making bread, solving mysteries. I wish I could be a dog person
WHATLOL
Crabstickz.
i dont know what you're talking about. this is the most adorable thing i've ever seen
I loved this video; the best part was at the end. "My tooth! The sandwich is caught on my tooth!" Hahaha, that was funny
+Deirdre Talley (Chef Dee) Also another line that made me laugh was "Two hours? I'm hungry!" :) Whoever voiced all this knocked it out of the park!
I absolutely loved these as a kid.
I legit can’t stop laughing at this 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you, Crabstickz, for bringing back happy childhood memories.
This terrified me as a kid because I was thoroughly convinced it was real. Now I can tell its fake but its adorable
the narrator knew how bad this was
Naah, he has resting bitch voice: sounds pissy when he's really neutral
I don’t know why but this terrified me as a child!
Why did I think it was on Read between the Lions?
This and Gumby is what my childhood nightmares consisted of.
Holy sh*t. What an old and forgotten memory this was.
WHY DID CRABSTICKZ DO THIS.
Aw, this is so cute!
"the secret to good bread is in the dough" you dont say!
This explains both my surreal imagination and my distrust of dogs in kitchens.
I remember these segments from when I was little. I always thought it was weird.
This used to scare me as a child & I thought this was on Between the Loins or something
I see your point. That Arty Smartypants guy used to scare the crap outta me. What were they thinking to put these scary characters in innocent children cartoons
Ian O'Connell oh god that guy was horrible XD
Mary Stroudensbourg IKR. That dude better take his SmartyPants crackhead looking self outta this world
***** I wish i had seen what you are talking about...hahaa...it would have prepared me for the evil world better! haha..
This sketch use to terrify me as a kid and even now as an adult it's rather unsettling.
I hope I am not the only one who was terrified of these segments as a kid. I think the reason is 1) dogs with human hands, 2) you hear a voice, but there is no mouths moving.
Here are your night terrors for the following month, enjoy.
I feel that dog's pain; I lost my first baby tooth when it got stuck on a sandwich, and it did not come out smoothly.
Same here, that happened when I ate a Sugar Daddy once. Now I can't eat them because of that, even though I love caramel
The narrator sounds so sincere.
I love this so much. I have watched it about 50 times! My tooth, the sandwich is caught on my tooth!
Nostalgia burst
Agreed
What’s for lunch 0:09
2 hours I’m hungry 1:09
40 minutes 1:28
Imagine that, the only 2 dog-humans ever and they decide to do a cooking show
This is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Thank you Chris. Thank you.
Am I the only peron who got here by clicking crabstickz 's banner?
Yeah I think so also this is 10 years old
LOL JACKMATE HOWS WILLNE
the hell is this chris
I always wondered where I saw the terrifying human dogs. I know sometimes minigolf has a creepy one at the end but I knew it was from a show or something! Finally thanks to Jeffiot’s introduction to the dog analogue horror I found it again 😭
That Boards of Canada video that I saw back in 2013 just brought me there, and it's been five years since then.
Thank you Chris.
When I was a child watching sesame street, I would be TERRIFIED by these segments. ;p quite disturbing
why am i crying at how funny this is?
SNL just did a skit like this and it unlocked this specific childhood memory.
i had nightmares because of these things
I was so freaked out by this as a kid
This is the funniest thing I have ever seen.
So this is what inspired dog nightmares
literally here because chris kendall told me I would be getting 'exclusive footage', which I assumed would be something he had made, but hey I'll settle for this pahaha
Chriiiis....
I love how everyone is here because of him
+lru Chris kendle (crabstickz)
I'm here because one of my steam friend's description was "How to make bread" and it was a link.
I've been trying to find this for years
I loved it as a child, and now I'm loving this as an older child.
Is that Kevin Spacey as the voice of the Dogs!?!?
Mikey McDonagh Nope, It's William Wegman.
You know what Chris.
i am crying this is so cute
this shit is what my nightmares were made of as a kid
