- We are testing out the Woodland Mills TF810 Pro Wood Chipper. This chipper is a PTO-driven machine. We used our Massey Ferguson 396 85 horsepower tractor.

You need to loosen the spring tension on the end feed roller and based on the size of the chips turn the speed down some also.

I hope you figured out the settings. It seemed to be jumpy and not feeding. Do you think too low of rpm?
Hey Kenny. The chipper requires 540 rpm pto. We used it again today, and it went better, but the machine is supposed to take logs up to 8 inches. Definitely the problem is with the in feed roller. I am going to call Woodland Mills on Monday to see what they recommend. Thanks so much for stopping by!
