My first hunt was in a traditional moose here in sweden and I shot one moose-cow with a Tikka 6,5x55 . Later I got my second rifle , a "used" one , a Husqvarna 8x57 JS . The interesting thing with it , was that the rifle wasn't barely used !! . Everything with that rifle was in shape as new ! No marks, no scratches ! Bought it from an old man who got it from his father, thing is , the old man did not hunt. The rifle was just over 40 years old when I bought it and I have been a hunter for over 41 year, so that Husqvarna is now around 80 years old, now equipped with an Aimpoint 7000 C comp on one base. Still shooting very well , still no marks or scratches Very impressive for an old rifle I would love to be an owner of that nice cap because I love your great videos .
Absolutely love watching every Aimpoint episode. My first game was roebuck in driven hunt - I saw it coming down the bushy hill, decided to shoot it, and waited for the perfect opportunity, once I pulled the trigger, I dropped about 3cm wide birch, and next to it my roe buck also dropped. Shot was unluckily lucky. The hit was ricocheted and in the end, placed right in the middle of the body. It was a great lesson in my first-ever driven hunt.
GREAT film and nice to see Lubbe along the big guys. Haha. My first game was a black goose or how to spell it. Think i was about 8 years and I used my dads 30.06 With oryx. LOL
Great film and Aimpoint hunting paradise everyone most probably dream of. Me for sure.. I met some of you in 2021 and I still dream of coming back and learn more about this special place and tools. Anyway, first ever hunted game of mine was a fox with my granddad when I was 10 year old (26 years ago 😀).
First game ever? A roe buck, a 6-pointer, the biggest I ever shot. Taken on the opening morning of the season. A beautiful May morning sitting on the side of a wheat field. At first just seeing the top of the antlers, then the ears and at last the entire buck. A true moment to remember 🤩
My first big game was a wildboar in the summer protection the crops, a nice boar around 90kg during “uppsiktsjakt” together whit my dad! My most memorable tho was my first driven boar together whit my grandfather during his last year whit us all!
First was a fallow deer with my father in the middle of sweden. Greatest memory to this date. the fallow was 2 points from gold and is to this day on my wall on the best position in the house!
My first game was a fox. I shot it in my first hunt ever. With my friends borrowed Tikka M55 in 308 win with a fixed four power scope. I still se the fox in my mind quartering away from me as it moved across the field in the fading light. Stopping every now and then looking for mice. I remember placing the crosshair over it - And then suddenly you get the feeling to shoot rather than the thought to shoot. Perfect shot. Never forgetting that one.
First game I shot was a roe buck on a pyrsch hunt . An amazing hunt that i will never forget. We heard and saw the buck very early in the morning and prepared for the buck to come a little closer. But he came out and just lay down on the field. We tried to wisthle on him and even the dog came out on the field beside us. But that buck just wouldn´t rise up. After almost 1 hour me aiming at him all the time, he finally rose up and i could take my shot. Really an very strange hunt that i never will forget🙂
My first was a moose calf when sitting in a stand with my uncle-inlaw in Östergötland. It's one of those moments that's etched into my memory what with all the emotional turmoil and adrenalin involved. It was a calm and easy shot at a still target thirty meters away, but for a hunter of 16 years of age that was plenty enough to cope with. =) The latest was a fallow, though. And before that a fallow.. And before that a fallow.. And before that a fallow.. And before that a fallow.. Safe to say we've got alot of fallow on the grounds these days.
The first time I shot a keiler was ar the hunting grounds of the Belgian Crown. Wild Boar Fever at the highest level .You get invited at le Chasse de la Couronne when you have made an excellent hunting test. This is possible cause of our late King Baudouin who wanted that every one has the chance to take part of one of the best hunting grounds in Belgium
My first game was a roebuck, harvested with my fathers hdf .222 that I borrowed without his knowledge, he was a bit surprised when he got home to find it hanging in the shed. 😂
