What I like of your videos is that it’s like listening to your memories and your vast knowledge of the guitar world, moreover when you make them simple, they feel more personal, like if you were in front of us having a chat, we don’t see the gear nor those big distracting mics that most other youtubers use. Keep the great work Zac!

Thanks Zac - this was a very enlightening episode. I'm a huge Keith Williams/Five Watt World fan, and both of your shows are the cream of the crop for guitar and music fans. I think your shows compliment each other really well - I get something new and interesting from both channels every episode. And a big shout out to your wife, for providing the audio source! :-D

Thanks for taking us all on this journey with you Zac! Like many, I started watching you during the early crazy days of Covid (I believe I watched my first episode in March of '20.) It was a very stressful time in my families' life, as it was for so many. My job has me working in Senior Care facilities, my wife (who is imuno-compromised) works in a hospital and her 80 yo parents live with us. So many hard days, but I always looked forward to watching your show, still do. I hope you realize what a joy it was to have a little slice of normalcy and fun to look forward to. So a very heart felt Thank You to you for doing what you do!

I really enjoyed this episode, like always, but this one was a great mixer upper. I started a UA-cam channel maybe a year and a half ago called Six String Twangin. A lady from my work told me I should do it, just for fun. I was kind of on the fence about it but I quickly grew to love having these little projects to work on. I'm using one phone to do it right now but that doesn't bother me. I too am a very technically simple person. Set it and go!

    Zac
This is a great episode. I thoroughly enjoy your show and have ever since you started the channel. It is very educational I always learn something, and all the topics are very interesting. I also enjoy your advice about amps, pedals, and guitars. Your lessons are always interesting as well. I’m so glad you started this channel is the best guitar show I watch. I look forward to the new episodes. Best Regards Lonnie

Thanks for this. I’m starting to do some videos now that I’m getting out of a one bedroom apartment into a house. Doubt if I’ll get to 20k subs. 20 might be doable, lol.

Zac, your transparency is refreshing and I was fascinated to learn about your recording process. You didn't say anything about lighting, though. Is the iPhone 12's camera system that much better that you don't need an external light? Also, are you recording with front camera or rear? Love the show!

Front camera, and I don't use any other light. Just natural.

@@AskZac Thank you for your response, Zac. It's amazing how great the video looks and the sound sounds. Also, how did I not ever know about The Desert Rose Band and John Jorgenson? Thanks for pointing me that way. Wow!

That's hilarious, because I haven't even reached 300 . . . and that's using 14 mics on my drums, 4 mics on my vocals, a 24-channel mixer for an interface, a Gibson Les Paul, a Fender American Tele AND Strat, a $5000 keyboard, and over a hundred hours' worth of post-production per video LOL I guess people aren't on UA-cam for awesome music so much as they're here for talking. And I just can't get comfortable enough behind a camera to talk. So congrats. I hope I get there someday, but so far it's just not happening. I'm happy for you though.

Not sure what’s wrong with me, but I like the way your show and Bukovac show sounds. Something wrong with me I guess. Seems like production can make things sound too smooth or something

I love Buk's show. The guys that mic their amps seem to sound sterile to me.

Come to think of it Pete Thorn did a remote show where just used the phone mike and I thought it caught the fire of his playing so much better
