I, as a listener, at some point in my life have questioned (unfairly) some musical styles, then I realized that in all of them something interesting or beautiful could be found (music is not always beautiful, but it should be interesting). .. A long time ago I read "Music for All of Us", by Leopold Stokowski, a book that pleasantly enlightened me and helped me open my mind to those other styles that I did not dare to value positively... without taboos or prejudices. Many years later I also read (as best I could) Arnold Schoenberg's musical theory, and I was amazed by the things he stated in that book, although I still find it difficult to enjoy dodecaphony and serialism... Anyway... The reality is that I grew up with a father who was a fan of symphonic, classical, baroque and romantic music and that marked me a lot, but today I feel free to encourage myself to enjoy everything that catches my fancy...
