A Short tutorial of the matrix interface which is used to program the BP 355 Bass FX unit. No bass sounds here - There is a video where I demoed all the 70 prestes.
I just got one of these last week. There are two "banks" of 70 presets, one set for factory settings, and one set for your own. The bank of 70 factory settings can no be changed so you will never lose those. The bank of 70 user settings start as an exact copy of the factory, but those you can adjust, edit, change, and rename however you want. So, there's really 140 presets available, 70 set from the factory, and another copy of those 70 that you can then edit. (I hope that made sense)
I have had my RP350 for several years and was intimidated by it for a while. I've gigged with it but still needed your great tutorial! Thats exactly what I was looking for here in the future 2020. Thanks for putting the work into it back in 2011!
Thanks for the video. This is a great overview. I do not think the manual is that great but I have not read it thoroughly. This is an easy device to turn on and start playing around w/ sounds but it's kind of frustrating if you are really trying to tweak to a specific type of sound. This video gives the basics of how to get going.
Thanks a bunch!! There's so much stuff here, it's hard to figure it all out... I wanted to use it in just stomp box mode, and couldn't get out of the presets. NOW I know how to do that!
I don't know if you still have this channel, but I found one of those things at a pawn shop for almost nothing. After I had paid the guy we opened the box and it was brand new. Everything was just like it rolled out of the factory. The pawn shop guy was like, ever who had this thing took good care of it. I said, The box has never been opened, and it hasn't until I did it.
Great for you. I still have it and I hardly ever used it. not because it ain't good - It's just that I am not a bass player and play other instruments as well. lately I came back to bass but not planning on using it. Should have sold it back then.
@YourComradeJustin If I understand you right As long as the effect is in a different category - you may combine them . The categories are chained ( I guess that the uppermost category is the first in the chain.)
Morris - hi - I can;t remember having this issue. I haven't been using it for quite a while. But gaps, lags or delyays - aren't something I can recall.
Actually no - Since I haven't used it since this video was uploaded in 2011. The Manual Says this: "Tuner Mode The Tuner in the BP355 allows you to quickly tune or check the tuning on your bass. Enter Tuner mode by pressing and holding the Up and Down Footswitches simultaneously for 2 seconds. The Display briefly shows tuner indicating that you are in Tuner mode. To begin tuning, play a note on your bass (a harmonic at the 12th fret usually works best). The Display shows the note being played. The Matrix LEDs indicate whether you are sharp or flat. The top 5 red LEDs indicate the note is sharp and should be tuned down. The bottom 5 red LEDs indicate the note is flat and should be tuned up. The center green LED indicates the note is in tune. The output is muted in Tuner mode. The Expression Pedal controls the bass volume while tuning. Exit tuner mode by pressing any Footswitch."
Hi there. Just recently my BP355 expression pedal has stopped working all of a sudden. I move the pedal up and down but nothing happens. Everything else seems to work fine. Any ideas?
