Won’t be trading in my 1250GSA on that.
Nor will I. Sooner move to another manufacturer.
Nor us. Both wife and I will stick to our 1250s (1250GSWA and 1250R) for now and, after 40 years of BMWs will probably move to something else when we do change our bikes eventually.

This is what annoys me about BMW, they bring out a design then update it years later and make the bike look completely different, why couldn't they just keep the design from the 1250?

I wasn't that crazy about the looks of the 1300 GS when it was released, but I love this bike. Can't wait to ride it.

BMW seem to have lost the plot with new GS'.
OMG that thing is a boat, so wide like a battle ship. Even the rear panniers are hugely wide. No shortage for capacity, but you won’t be lane spitting-anywhere lol! It makes me wonder how much of the ever increasing engine capacity and power is used just to cut through the wind at speed.
Will be an adventure to squeeze this in the garage.😂
I think its cool! Really I do. Not fan of the standard GS looks and appearance, but this one is just immensely cool and hardcore looking to me
Its like the Harley Pan America , and last years GSA had a baby. It looks like a photocopier with a head light.

I thought the HD Pan América was ugly, but this bike raised the level of ugliness. Without a clutch it became the ugliest scooter in the world

Good design, the swing back tank bag, panniers that attach to the tank, excellent protection from the elements, it’s no wider than the old model, more power & torque, excellent suspension twin spring rated, bike remains flat under heavy braking no fork dive. I hope the seat has been improved over the GS1300 because that is definitely less comfortable than the 1250.
BMW need to come clean however these big ADV’s aren’t really for going properly off road, too heavy, too expensive - they’re Goldwing alternatives.
At first I was shocked but I notice that I'm starting to get used to it a bit. It is missing a bit typical GS-nes though

I like it. What I don’t like is the stupidity of removing the rear brake light - it’s bad enough ensuring we don’t get taken out while riding by poor drivers . Now we will all be paying an extra wedge of cash to put a proper brake light on the back. Madness BMW
Don’t know why the adventure needs longer suspension travel. The lighter bike should always be the off road oriented ie longer travel and the heavier bike the tourer. They need to take lessons from Honda like they have with the Africa twin

I dont like it, i have a 2000 1150GS and a 08 1200GSA which look ok(ish), but this new one looks like metal micky shagged a microwave in a ball pool full of lego.

These things are UGLY AF I have a pan America special and it looks like it’s half the size of these things I get it 8 gallon tank is nice but I think I’ll keep my pan am plus BMW didn’t even give it a 21 inch front wheel so it’s gonna turn in like a fuggin boat
To be fair, the Pan America also looks like a bit of a bloated pig. I get why for both of these bikes, but neither are exactly what you'd consider svelte.

to be fair bikes with 19 inch wheels turn better than 21. The bigger gets over obstacles easier, on road 19 is far better
@@szabolcsfejer1338 yes you are correct the smaller 19in wheel is more stable at speed, the 21in wheel allows for better traversal over obstacles. However when you need to “destabilize” to allow for lean angle to occur and entrance into a turn in my eyes would be much better and allow for a more flowing behavior instead of wrestling the bike in. The new GS is 593 pounds 2 pounds heavier that previous GSA and just for reference your getting into bagger Harley weight territory so in my humble opinion and having rode a tiger 1200 with an 8 gallon tank and a 21 inch front wheel bike handle very nicely at speed and in the corners.
